I can understand Arshad's mom's POV (though the bad dua part was going too far. Lady if you're son is okay with it, why are you cursing zoya).

But I cant say zoya took it too far because:

4 simple words

She did not know

We viewers knew what she was feeling but zoya didn't know that. All she knew was that this time she simply HAD to go with her father's decision because he had already been proven right twice.
It was only when the moment came to say qubool hai and aditya began walking away from her, did she realize that she couldn't say it. She didn't get up and say "I won't marry Arshad "

It was a simple matter of her not being able to say the words that would make her Arshad's wife. She didn't do that on purpose.
So I respectfully disagree with this topic.
Also Arshad dreaming that she loved him was entirely on him since she told him quite clearly that she did NOT love him.

Yupp! Everyone was just overlooking facts in this track. Every single person !
Arshad overlooked Zoya s concern
Zoya overlooked her concern for Aditya
Aditya overlooked Zoya's sentiment
Papa Waseem overlooked everything barring Arshad
And rest of the people weren't any better.

Arshad as a human being was just being dreamy, but he was also ignorant of Zoya - her feelings and her situation. He took full advantage as far as he could but realized his mistake when even this advantage fell short of making Zoya his wife. So Zoya can't be blamed for being forced to marry someone. She was just being honest. She was honest when she said she's not ready, she was honest when she fought for adi on janmashtami, she was honest when she said she doesn't love Arshad, she was confused and felt betrayed when she was confronted by Adi, she said she doesn't loves anyone, but that includes Arshad too right. Most importantly she was honest by not saying qubool hai to someone she couldn't love.

Im sure drama was required. Just that personally I find such public humiliation episodes rather jarring.

Not my palate. Kudos to Zoya though ! Considering her crazy father , it would require guts and every fibre of her body to stand up and face him

Zoya is not perfect..she did wrong when she made the decision to.marry arhsad when what she really wanted was to go away from aditya...as aditya had said..whn heart breaks we tend to make wrong decision ..and she made her mistake..but was it just her mistake..it was almost obvious to anyone seeing her care and tears for aditya that even though she might not love him..but this man certainly has some.major involvement in her life..she even leftvthe whole engmnt ceremony for aditya..just becz aftr knwing the lie..she proceeded the ceremony doesnt erase the fact that she left arshad and their family for aditya..still they chose to be blind than question themselves if they wanted to take the risk..they took the risk..and faced the consequence..at least this consequence is better than the consequence tht would have occured if the marrg did happen..

I have seen the episode felt that all feel betrayed by Zoya.
I know no one is at fault in the situation.The longer it takes for truth to come out, the stack and repercussion get increased with time.

Zoya took impulsive decision of marrying Arshad. Impulsive decision cost u later and sometimes damage is beyond control. As soon as she comes to know Aditya loves her, she ran to Arshad to say yes to marriage for whatever reason.

I know most ppl support jodi and who ever standing opposite them are bad person. I think we should start accepting that most ppl are flawed and thats make them real.

So yes no one is fault with their prespective but as outside i can say all were wrong at some other point in their life. (whether its Zoya, Waseem, Arshad, Arshad's mom)

I felt every character was right in their place...it was a well executed episode with respect to different charscters...Zoya made her stand clear today...she was going through the wedding for her father...Despite the strong feelings she had for adithya in her heart she tried to ignore it and go forward in the wedding for her father...she didnt want to be the daughter who cheated her father twice...but alas she failed in front of her heart...she admitted her feeling for adithya in front of the entire gathering...with waseem's constant force and looks the girl did her best to express her feelings...Zoya alone is never responsible for what happens..she alone can never be blamed...
