Really appreciate Cvs for the unexpected subtleness present in the episode today. It had the right amount of drama. Glad they didn't drag much of it. As usual Jenny and HC did some amazing work!
Aditya use to always taunt Zoya when she use to run behind Yash's ring which was never her's to begin with. Why are you chasing behind a ring that doesn't want to stay with you he had said. Today he himself hands over his ring which was always suppose to be with Zoya .The truth behind the ring she was running away from comes right back to her. The ring is chasing her now. Aditya smiles as if this ring is their inside joke which only they understand and says I guess this ring wants to stay with you. It's his wedding gift for her. Only he doesn't know this is their own wedding and this is his gift to zoya, a promise to always be with her even in worst days he won't leave her. Zoya captures the promise in her hand tightly and walks with him. During mehendi ceremony, Zoya had embarrassment in her eyes seeing Aditya when he was dancing and had hesitated when he had lent his hand out to hold her, but today when he held her hand and walked her till nikkah she had no hesitation. She proudly gave her hand and walked with him showing the world this is my Aditya, not the mehendi one.
I have already spoken about the duppata getting stuck in Aditya's jacket in my last post. It was heart breaking when the dupatta gets stuck. Aditya actually looks up for few seconds. It felt as though he was asking god why he is doing this to him. He was complaining that he doesn't have it in him anymore to go back and look at the beautiful bridal face again. But when he comes back, Zoya has a slight smile. As if she knew he will come back for her. Zoya didn't care where she was sitting or who was looking at them, she kept staring at aditya asking him to say something that will stop her. Only when Waseem comes there Zoya lowers her eyes.
A special mention to the tiny scene between Aditya and Noor today. It was really well done by both Anchal and Harshad. In the scene, he gives his last look towards Zoya and then looks back at Noor, he smiles telling her with his eyes to always take care of Zoya and Noor gives him a bittersweet approval. Just shows in this short time, the emotional bond these two have formed. It was only Arjun and Noor who saw Aditya's struggle so closely and it broke Noor to see it come to an end.
For every qubool hai of Arshad's Aditya took a step towards the door. But right when Zoya's turn came he stops at the doorstep. He had given his promise to Zoya when she had handed him this contract that he will stay till she says qubool hai then walk out. So he waits to fulfill his last promise, waits to hear her say qubool hai. Zoya on the other hand looks at his ring and remembers all those fharak padta hai lines Adi had asked her. Afterall the struggle she finallys lets go of her fear and admits to herself that fharak padta hai. She lets her heart win over.
Arshad, I am glad wasn't shown as a mahaan character but more of understanding man. The lines he told Aditya were natural. He directly tells Aditya that he hates him because zoya can't say qubool hai. He has everything that a man can offer a woman but the woman still wants aditya and he hates that about him. So it is natual for him to hate aditya. The beauty of this scene was how aditya kept looking towards Zoya after each line of Arshad's. He was waiting for Zoya to come forward and stop Arshad from misunderstanding the situation, he kept looking to confirm if what Arshad was saying was true. Lastly when Arshad raises his hand, Aditya's eyes are shown to be so broken and helpless. Everytime they have gotten into a fist fight, Aditya use to always have a firing rage in his eyes but Arshad saw the broken aditya today who didn't have that rage in him to fight. He felt as though he deserved the punch today so he stood there with guilt. Arshad notices it and lowers his hand realizing this is not who he is, he is better than this.
Waseem knew from very beginning what Zoya felt for Aditya. The fear of watching his daughter fall in love again with a wrong man made him into a blackmailing father today. The rainy day Zoya had brought aditya home and had held his hand, Waseem knew from that day itself that his daughter has grown fond of Aditya and it is deep. So when he kept asking her today to accept that she didn't love aditya, somewhere from asking he went into forcing her to repeat what he has saying. He could have taken her inside privately to get matters cleared if he really wanted to know what her heart wanted but he stood in public so she wouldn't be able to say no. He got so desperate that he asked to tell him through signaling. Aditya understood her silence and became her voice again.
Zoya's confession was really heart touching. More than a confession it felt like a daughter breaking down infront of her father to share her pain, her struggles which she had kept bottled up for days. She tells him I tired, I really tired to love your choice this time but I couldn't battle with my feelings.
Now the big moment when Waseem pushes her, took me directly to their fake wedding in virani track. Zoya in the past had tried to save the reputation of her love, ZOSH company for which she agreed to go against her morals and sat down to marry a man she did not love. But while she was trying to save that man's company, his mother slapped her infront of the world for betrayal. When Madhu slapped Zoya, she fell directly into Aditya's arms with the accusation of being characterless, who inturn held her without any relation and gave a death glare to Madhu. He was the only one who was sure of her character and held her hand in support.
Today again Zoya was going into another fake marriage but this time her love and honesty saved her from it. So again she steps out to put her reputation on the line to honor her love. And again she gets pushed into humiliation but Aditya's arms hold her pride intact. Arshad did not step ahead but aditya did. He holds her and gives an angry glare to waseem for his action, then looks back at zoya to give her courage that he is right there to support her. Yash was the love of her life which she chose and waseem disapproved, Aditya is her soulmate whom she did not choose but destiny presented it to her which waseem will evtually approve.
