I want Aditya to say 'Qubool Nahin Hai'

Hi, I'm AT. Have been a pseudo-silent member here, occassionally occassionally thanking Suta for her LUs / appreciating some of the beautiful works I've read here.

And yes, you read it right, I want Aditya to say "Qubool Nahin Hai" and refuse to get married to Zoya there and then. Because that makes no sense whatsoever! He said he wanted her to have all her dreams fulfilled, a big, shandaar marriage, completely unlike the one she had before.

The only thing that makes sense is him giving her time, giving her freedom to have a say in her own marriage, promising her that unlike last time, he won't marry her against everyone's wishes. He won't take her away from her house, in the truest sense, if Waseem breaks relations with her again. He won't take her to a new house where again, she gets hatred from the person who's supposed to be her source of mother's love.

This time around, he'll sure as hell make sure ALL freaking wishers of hers are fulfilled, even the ones she doesn't know about yet. That this marriage will happen in with ALL their loved ones' blessings and in shorts on a beach if she wants it 😉😛 Sorry, I simply couldn't resist 😆.

I wrote an OS along this wish of mine, in case you'd like to give it a read. It was supposed to be a 4-part-drabble, hence the deleted reserveds :p

but i seriosuly dnt think shaadi aur drag karenge...almost all the rituals are done dhoom dhaam se..in parts though😆

haan...zoya seems to never get the family supprt she deserves..but this time the exception is...aditya is not yash who would arrange a parallel world away frm her family and his family..he will make her live among his family and they will definitely work to win over anjana and wasseem..though i would like sarcastic hooda to work on wasseem...he deserves some earful..

marrg is between adiya..though families support is highly essential i see no point in saying nahin qubool hain just because anjana and wasseem seems to never see their love and pain for each other..even papa hooda and rosana has accepted zoya and aditya as their bahu and damad..and waseem and anjana are so selfish..its plain rude to us fans if they sacrifice their love for them...😆...they wouldnt do that..As jenny said..its not her familyor arshad which is holding her back frm aditya...it was her fear..so..i think according to zoya and aditya...family was never above love..

Dude think about it - wouldn't you, as a girl, want all your marriage rituals to be with the man you love and actually want to get married to? It happens once in life! Wouldn't you want to be happy in ALL those once in a lifetime rituals?

Think from Adi's perspective - he knows what she has gone through, he saw firsthand how her MIL treated her, how her father did not budge for 5 years. He wants to compensate for all he did wrong with Pooja - never really honoring her wishes - knowingly or unknowing. I'm pretty sure subconsciously that'll make him overcompensate in Zoya's case.

As for the last line. Imagine, for one moment, that Anjana wasn't a psycho and Waseem wasn't such a douche. They were just two parents who did not approve of their kid's choice because of what they had seen that choice do. Should you really chose a person you've known for a year over the person who brought you up like a prince/princess for 30 years?

I for a fact wouldn't. Zoya made that mistake once, I am sure she won't again. Or so I hope. :P

😆..one reason is..i am already married..with all the rituals...and both my dad and his dad were half minded abt the alliance...i understand what u r saying..it has its up and down..but experiencing it...i understood one thing...all that matters is what comes after marrg..how we live..as a parent,their.main priority will be or as a mom myself now i would say..it should be... their kids happiness..especially when it comes to their marrg..so if zoya and aditya doesnt stay away frm their parents distancing themselves more from them and try to show them how much happy they r with each other...a normal adoring parent will definitely accept their kids happiness..

now if they sacrifice their love for family..they will only be torturing themselves and even their parents..at the end of the day..a parent gets heartbroken when their kid is in pain..ok..i am talking abt normal parents here ..not psychos like anjana..and waseem comes under blah category..😆

bold..that depends on whether zoya loves aditya or not...if her 30 year relationship mattered more than the voice of her heart..she wouldnt have fallen in love with aditya...because she always knew their parents never liked them..that knowledge is enough to not love or even maintain Friendship with aditya in my opinion..

its just my opinion here..according to me..ones foremost responsibility is towards oneself first..ones own health..ones own happiness..then comes spouse and family...so if we r not true to ourself..how can we be true to others..because if zoya doesnt stand with the voice of her heart..no matter what she says..after that..its just a lie..she will be living a lie..

Fair point.

Though just to be clear I'm not saying AdiYa should sacrifice their love, damn no! Definitely not. Just not get married like this, in this situation. Not get married before atleast trying once, to get their families to agree. And maybe spend some time with each other, with this feeling, before getting into a marriage.

Last one's optional :P just a good thing to have for a fan :P

Yup. TaAnu for life. Actually, almost all of Harshad's characters for life :P
