Whereas English shows like homeland, Prison break etc are good thrillers with complications. If you have read English fiction especially Jeffrey Archer, Ken Follet, Mary Higgins Clarke, Sidney Sheldon etc you will know what I mean

-Kane and Abel, Dangerous fortune, As the crow flies, Clefton series, A matter of honor, Master of game, if tomorrow comes, rage of angels the list is endless. And then You belong to me. This book had me in bits. The twist is simply amazing. So BP as a story is really really good and people need to understand the genre it is in. It is not the common genre of iTV.

One more thing I can tell as a writer myself who has written short stories, fancfiction and published my first novel which is again a romantic thriller in nineties. Writing a fan fiction is easy, as you have the plot and characters available. you need to tweak them. Short story is about the theme you chose and you dont have to look at many relationship dynamics, just need to concentrate on the key dynamics and you have the story.

Thriller fiction. Believe me I would have stopped writing if not for readers in IF and wattpad. Because I was going nuts. When you are dealing with illusion, timing of breaking of illusion matters. And each incident has to connect in a chain at the right timing to get the desired result. Connecting those chain links was never an easy task. You have to put little little things from the beginning of the story that makes no sense at that point, but you need them open your plot as you move towards closure. It was really painful to write them. Those 4 months of 2017 ie Jun-Sep was really difficult for me where I had even thought of quitting writing the story. So I really feel sorry for BP CVs who have so many constraints who had to follow a template of Hindi tv serial and still tell the story but instead of appreciation for the good work all they get is bashing and people asking do this and do that. Because without any restrictions I struggled so I know what it means to write. One more thing, every writer has a soul in their mind for their story. It is the writer's creation with all its plus and minus. Viewers need to give basic respect for that.

I personally like it when some share writer stuffs.😳😃😆

@alizia it is hard writing a story. Then editing and re-editing it and it was in those days I feel how easy it is to sit and analyze some one else's work😆😆.
It took me 2 years to publish Seven Vows. 1.3 months to write the story and another 5 months to edit it and 2 months to publish.

Those days when I open my fiction it was work, but analyzing SKR and then later Beyhadh and BP it was fun.😆😆
