I never said she will not have a car, I said she will not have a driver. She will have a car, a fancy car, but will she want to drive herself to auditions is what I said when she has someone drive her in India. And then the uber posts started. If people want to believe DP will take ubers like an ordinary girl in LA, then go ahead believe it, who am I to say no. 😆But having a driver consistently in the US is only for very rich people which I have seen. Many people who have nice cars prefer to drive themselves or ride expensive bikes like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise. As for driving difficulty in LA, we have to agree to disagree. Perhaps it was my age, but I found it the most difficult to drive and road rage was very bad. One of my scariest memories is being chased in anger by a guy because I made a slow turn.I got the middle finger salute using both fingers. I don't think many people in India do that. Those long freeways and having to travel everywhere on one to get from Point A to B. I hate LA driving. That is my experience. NY is just a mess.As for drivers in India, why do even the middle class have maids ? Cheap labor. We have hired a driver for a few hours when we visited India and we provided the car. It cost less than $10 for 5 hours. With labor that cheap in India will DP be able to keep a driver on staff consistently like India. She has to buy or rent a house, probably hire a maid, a cook unless she can take her team to LA. IDK how that works but definitely she will have to pay staff in dollars not rupees else get in trouble.Living a Mumbai lifestyle in rupees is definitely much cheaper but when you try to replicate that lifestyle in dollars even if you have millions of them it will deplete faster. The people who moved like Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz were all not established like DP so they lived smaller lives.Botton line, lifestyle matters to most people. Most people move for something better or similar. If PC was going to struggle in LA, I don't think she would have done it. The woman had a Rolls in Mumbai way before Quantico. So why would she settle. She had a job on Network TV as a lead, got paid millions of dollars, probably had a studio car and driver to take her back and from set. No loss in lifestyle and easier to build a life. It enhanced PC's bank account. In DP's case she will have to dip into her fortune to build a life there.

I'll never understand the criticism DP gets for her accent. She is an Indian who has been raised in India, hence she will have the same accent. Priyanka gets criticized for putting up a fake accent, so I'm assuming DP wouldn't be spared either...if she tries to change hers. Kare toh koi kya kare bhai? 😆 Anyway, let us hope she does more Bollywood movies where she is clearly loved and no one has a problem with her accent. 😃
