deepika doesnt have the drive for hollywood

The life of a TV actor and a movie actor is different. Well, most movie actors drive themselves in LA however big they are to auditions. And LA traffic is one of the most difficult to drive in IME and I have been driving since I was a teen. IDK how much money Deepika has, but could she consistently afford a driver? At Deepika's level which is HW entry, she still must audition to get a movie mostly. Actors just don't own these fabulous cars and sit in the back like desi actors do and have a driver drive them places.

PC was TV, so she probably had a driver pick her up and drop her as the star of the show and had a long term contract so her life was fairly predictable and stable. I have also seen pictures of her using a driver in NY. But NY traffic is even more brutal if you ask me.

I think PC picked better in terms of stability and dare I say longevity and exposure. DP must hustle more to land a picture which given the cushy life she has now and the 8 years she spent hustling in BW before success I would not be surprised if she was not willing to start all the way at the bottom.

More successful in Hollywood than Priyanka with that accent? In what roles? I genuinely want to know. Name some role you could see her in and think she would've been well received. She would need extensive amount of classes to mask that accent. Also you need to have a killer personality to make it in Hollywood, especially to stand out. Deepika is barely known in Bollywood for her charm and this is her kingdom.

DP in an interview said that she didnot want to shift base to US to pursue a career in hollywood. She wanted to live in India and travel out of India for hollywood projects. But PC shifted to US to pursue her hollywood career. So it is clear their approach and priority to hollywood is very different. For one it is her main focus while for the other it is secondary to her bollywood career.

I just felt she has low confidence in terms of her presentation, conducting herself well etc. She got some opportunities but could not shine as she doesn't know how things work in Hollywood.
