I wouldn't call Waseem a horrible father coz he has seen how conniving the Hoodas can be n it's a father's instincts that are preventing him from seeing Adi's love. As a father he also needs to keep in mind the kind of family Zoya is getting into. No father will willingly allow his daughter to be married into a family he cannot trust.

Of course he don't trust zoya...remember he told roshna that friendship can change to love anytime...since adithya came back to zoya's life he has feared zoya to get close to adithya...

My reasoning for calling him a terrible father is not because of the Hoodas but rather the way he forced Zoya into this rishta in the most subtle way possible.
Granted his hate for the Hoodas is valid but why couldn't he have a conversation with his daughter about this? Marriage is a huge, life-altering decision and it seems as if he tried to keep Zoya away from the Hoodas by pushing her into marriage knowing she wasn't ready and the kind of repercussions it would have on her mental health 😕
