It was bound to happen because of the silly promotions and the remaining rushed up scenes :(

It's not really related to Bela and Mahir. Saturday's episode that week had many Bela-Mahir scenes actually.

Clearly if the story hadn't dragged because of Stree promotions the ratings would have been different and would not have taken such a nosedive.

exactly. Show is not only about Behir. Saturday pe Behir scenes the a lot of. even 4.9 wala week also less behir. n first 5 weeks were also in top with less behir. this is not a daily soap . agar har time pati patni ko dikhate hai toh TRP aur bhi jeyada giregi.cos har time lovey dovey moments dekhna kisiko pasand nei. Naagin means the combination of Strong plot, drama, actions, suspense, sassy things, villains n loves.
