Janhvi Kapoor to essay the role of First Woman IAF Chopper Pilot Gunja

Janhvi Kapoor debuted in the industry with
Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak, which was an
official adaptation of the Marathi film, Sairat
based on honour killing and caste
discrimination. The film did good business
at the box office and Janhvi's acting in the
film was appreciated by the audience. She
delivered a nuanced performance in the film
that also stars Ishaan Khatter. Janhvi has
already signed her next film, Takht. She will
be seen in Karan Johar's directorial venture
with Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Kareena
Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and
Anil Kapoor.
Karan Johar's film will go on floors in
September next year. Now, as per a report in
The Quint, Janhvi has signed another film
with Dharma Productions. Janhvi Kapoor has
reportedly been roped in to play the role of
first woman IAF Chopper Pilot Gunjan
Saxena. It was reported last year that Karan
Johar's Dharma Productions is planning to
make a film on her life. Gunjan Saxena is the
first woman to fly a chopper. She evacuated
injured soldiers from Kargil in 1999. Gunjan
and fellow lieutenant Srividya Rajan faced
enemy fire, but still managed to bring our
soldiers home.

film.
