Hope everybody is rested well over the weekend and ready for the mystery Bonanaza offered by our dear makers on the Ishqbaaaz Pallette tonight! 😉 I have to say the new characters have been introduced so well within the plot today. Its good to see Zain & Mandana in IB for the first time, brings in the much needed breath of fresh air. Dont kill me for saying this but Zain has a screen presence and his charm really spreads over from the first episode, though he is taking his time to settle in😆. Not a fan of Mandana but she is been intelligently casted for the role. Have to give it to Gul for the best casting as always!👏
Magicians are the most honest people in the world; they tell you they're gonna fool you, & then they do it.
The episode explores the characterisation of the magician throughout, with the other characters pitching in their own responses as well. Shivaay Singh Oberoi's magician dost Mohit is about to enter the fraternity and he is seen busy preparing for his arrival. Note a few things that defines this friend:
1. As per Priyanka, he has saved Shivaay from being almost killed by enemies threatening him with a Knife. He is magician this whole incident could be a illusion too!
2. Brown Sugar: He likes Brown Sugar in everything from Namkeen to Meetha! Did u guys know that that historically brown sugar has been associated with Occult & Magic! It was an important ingredient of their Love Potion.
3. Mirrors: He likes to get up and see his face in the mirror. Gauri finds it weird and so do we coz generally you should not sleep in front of mirrors. It reflects light and the light itself has many dimensions and meanings. Its a portal between two worlds. At one point of time I felt that Mohit himself is a illusion too.😳
4. His entry is dramatic with his wife. He walks through smoke and fire. Two things that the magician play very well with as it defines their life.
5. Have you hear about the saying that "You can get hypnotised only is you want to". That means Magic happens only if you believe in it and going by the episode Shivaay seems already mesmerised by his magician friend. He works hard to deliver him his kinds of food, ask Dadi to leave the anger as he is coming & calls him close to God!
But Mohit, as he meets the family members takes his own sweet time to prove himself as a magician kind of testing Anika's patience or should we say that in times to come will Anika test his patience with her curiosity.🤣 Because here is a thinking mind who has heard bout the magic but needs proof. Making me doubly sure about one fact that she will be the first one to decode his magical tricks owing to this curiosity of hers as her husband would be too spell bound to think beyond. So this is where Anika will dive in with her logic when he plays with Shivaay's mind.
Also Mohit seems mesmerised by Anika's beauty too kind of a hint that it is here that he shall falter coz she is beauty with brains.😳
6. He is already beginning to play his tricks as he wants to know there love story that was muted from the episode. Also surprisingly he looks to be here on Tej's behalf.
So all in all a good episode for the starters as it dispenses magic as well as mystery in the air. My advise to fellow Ibians, tighten your seat belts and be with us from the start coz this game is about to not only get murkier but also romantic as I believe Love is the closest thing we have to Magic😳 slowly waking up the husband in Shivaay as he rightfully says, "Ghoorna band karo" since Anika cant stop staring at Mohit for ofcourse her own reasons!😉
