Wow... good one V.. I wonder why no one raised this point up before. Sameer could share with nanu because Nanu was way ahead in parenting. Sameer's VO also mentioned that. He treated Sameer and his friends as friends. While C is trying to catch up by saying we should be friends of our kids. But his actions always don't work in synchronisation of his thoughts. That's the major difference which you call it flaw. Besides that now C told Naina you should have told me about Sameer long time back. But Naina didn't know that C will accept it so easily. Let's see how he guides samaina in this journey. Hopefully it's constructive one.

Naina, Naina, Naina... But kya karen nowadays if we say anything against her it is tagged as negativity on forum, ppl want old positive forum back. At that time she was admired for her love,.pyar pyar na raha, forum forum na raha. 😆

I don't know whether I said it in this thread but I got hooked onto this serial because of Naina. I found this serial to be different where the female lead is different. She is bold enough to fall in love and not the cliched one who wants to be pursued by the hero. I admired her zest for life(I still remember her 'hawa aane de' dialogue) and her love for Sameer.

But that does not mean I will support her wrong doings. I cannot support Naina's suicide stunt on terrace. Getting her point to get accepted in this way is pathetic. I see no difference between Baap-Beti. Emotional blackmail like this is a wrong short cut.

I also don't support her lack of empathy, the way she behaved after Chachaji gave his nod for the relationship. She behaved as if nothing had happened. It was a mere jhagda for her!

I agree to most of the things you said but two points..

I think Sameer should have known that her family is the most important for Naina from day one. If you watch initial episodes, you will notice during bet phase how many times did Samundit say that thing and that's why they planned to convince Naina to come for Mt Abu trip. So that she can be away from her family and would be easier to get to.
He did the same during puja Didi's wedding... Impress her family
As many people have pointed it out earlier, that probably Sameer would have done same thing if it was Nanaji vs Naina.

Second Naina said she loved Sameer the most.. I think she never denied the fact that she loves him the most. It is more about love vs duty. And she chose her duty towards her family or chachaji..

Yes, Sameer knew she had an orthodox family and she is very much attached to her family. But we need to understand that they were in love for three years. After confession, during Delhi track and Manhoos track it was Naina who was pursuing him. She had plenty of time to think about their love and her conservative family but still she went ahead. That might have encouraged Sameer that when the time comes Naina will not betray him. I was upset when Naina did not confide in him

her insecurity. Instead of discussing she took a one-sided decision and broke up with him. It would have still been OK if it was only 3 months after confession but 3 years is a long time!

Sameer had always been open about his love and confided in Nanu. So Nanu did not mind. If Naina also had gathered some courage and spoke to Chachaji before deciding on breakup, you never know Chachaji would have sided with her. I know it was a uphill task but she did not even try.

I feel after 3 years of commitment you have a certain duty towards your boyfriend too!😃 Anyways if its parental duty vs love, why Naina has now declared she will not breakup with Sameer without confiding in her father. If Rakesh does the suicide stunt again, what will Naina do?

I personally have taken long, hard route to appease my folks. I have a family who were liberal in studies but very conservative in marriage!😃 I could neither give up on my Sameer nor hurt my family. It took years to cajole them. I told my Sameer he needs to wait. I will marry only when my Dad gives my hand to him willingly and he stood like a rock in my support. No emotional blackmail, only patience, persistence, perseverance and of course determination!
