Just few days back someone made a thread on how only star kids get all the limelight, while outsider newbies struggle away with no proper launch or media coverage. Well this thread is a classic eg of how people in general are crazy about star kids. These thread would not have reached 2nd page if it was about ordinary newcomers. We the people here and everywhere else on social media are responsible for making stars out of star kids even before their debut and then cry about nepotism all day lol.

Let's be dead honest, the only reason star daughters like Rhea and Anshula chose to stay away from camera is because they know they don't look like BW heroines. Girls like ananya, khushi and Shanaya otoh know they have a reasonably cute face to land the first few films easily given how much Bollywood obsesses with starkids.

Aryan doesn't want to be an actor and he is still in college. SRK just said so in an interview this week that Aryan wants to be a filmmaker but that won't happen for another 3 years at least.

Lets not put entire blame on media, media knows public has huge interest in star kids hence more articles and gossip columns on them, they get more hits and reactions then a random article on a random newbie. Producers launch star kids cos they know movie going audience would be interested to see how they look or act on screen, are they as good as their lineage etc. Its a collective thing where media, PH, and general movie going audience come together to give these star kids enormous launch.

Aryan wants to become a filmmaker and as said by SRK in his latest interview, his son has four more years at university.

I wish star kids parents had showed them the mirror instead of plastics surgeries when their growing up 🤢

I believe that audiences discuss whatever they get to see. Starkids are thrust into the limelight all the time from a very young age. So it's natural that they get discussed about more. Then there is the fact that they also gain carryover fans/ haters from their parents.😆Aryan for example already has both fans and devoted trolls thanks to SRK and his on again off again panga with Salman.😆

All said and done I would definitely blame media and BW folks for the rampant nepotism more than the audience/people who consume BW products. And at the end of the day, all this online craze wouldn't measure upto anything if hits are not being produced in the BO.

If audience were really contributing towards nepotism then abhishek bacchan and esha Deol would have also been owners of dozens of hit films.

Refugee had the biggest opening of all time, so star kids do generate interest among the audience, or else why are gossip sites and celeb lifestyle infotainments are so popular.
