On her childish act in Saat Phere…
It's been almost three months that I have had a memory loss in the serial. People have appreciated my childish act. I take it as a compliment when I am compared to Sridevi in Sadma because I simply loved her in that film. The track (in the soap) will continue for a while now till she regains her memory but will continue to behave the same way to misguide Jiji (played by Nivedita Bhattacharya). The story is headed for an interesting twist now.

On preparing for the role…
I couldn't do much research on the act because I couldn't find any books or any internet links on this subject. Also I didn't have much time to do so. I relied on my observation of how children behave. I have my nephews and nieces who I studied closely. The situation was similar to the one in Sadma. So the channel wanted a similar look too. But since I play a Rajasthani in the show, the specific changes were done keeping the ghagra-choli look in mind.

On being offered reality shows…
There have been several offers to do reality shows which I couldn't do because of lack of dates. I was offered Jhoom India and Shaava Shaava too, which I couldn't go ahead with. Right now, I have taken up a dance-based show called Ticket to Bollywood.

Managing home and career…
It's my house and work which I am busy shuttling between at the moment. Doing a daily soap is not easy because you are working for almost 12-13 hours every day. Thankfully, I have complete support from my hubby and in-laws.

First anniversary celebration…
We completed a year of our marriage on February 7. We took four days off from our busy schedules to spend time with each other. It was a shopping extravaganza that we indulged in Dubai. Sanjyot gifted me a diamond-studded mangalsutra while I brought him a watch. Of course, people are asking us about when we plan to start a family. My answer is that there's still time for it.
