Why are producers investing in him? Almost all of his movies are flops.

Why ? Because he is a national award winner who can actually act. He also does these movies like Newton, Shahid which require acting which few or practically non existent actor pedigree kids can do. He was trained in acting before he actually entered the industry. He is here because of acting, not because of any daya or Godfather. He does not give bashans about how he wants to change the industry, he shuts up and does his job.

As for the BO, even a movie like Trapped by Motwane made more money than Bhavesh Joshi by Motwane. So that is why he is getting movies.

Also all the raja betas like Abhishek or Harsh are sitting on their fat asses eating nahi mooching off their father's money or wasting it in pursuit of "certain" kind of films. Rajkumar Rao does these roles probably few will take that require acting and does not pay well because he has no father in the industry to bail him or godfather,

He is signing too many movies... but I dont mind because he is an outsider and also has to earn money too right.

Good for him if he is winning awards, but i was talking from a producer's point of view. More than 90% of his movies are flops. Why are producers are investing so much money on him as a lead actor when they know there are good chances that they lose money.

And LOL at trapped making more than Bhavesh Joshi being a huge accomplishment. BV made like 1 crore 😆

Har saal do saal mein koi aisa aata hain jisko log paglo ki tarah pyaar dete hain irrespective of hits and flops coz of his image. Phir woh sitara dhal jata hain aur naya sitara jaag jata hain. With his very obvious arrogance shayad pehle hi kuch log khar khate ho. Kya pata!

Well duh...Bhavesh Joshi was promoted like crap, Harsh gave baashan after baashan and it was a "new" superhero movie. It flopped miserably. It had blessing of the industry. Trapped is a movie in which RajKumar Rao is on screen a lot. You really have to like him to pay for something like that. Fact that more people paid to see him on screen more than Bhavesh says a lot about his BO abilities that he could draw a crowd even for that.

Obviously producers think he is worth investing. He may not break BO records or even set one, but he may get a critics award or hell even a national award which you can't say for most starkids. Everything is not about BO.

How? BO office, all of them had flops. Sonakshi and Shraddha are yet to see success while Ranbir saw it with Dutt. I see no difference in their BO results.
