Dear Surbhi, I had to post it publicly other than PMing you as it was really essential for my inner peace that I apologise to you here.

My comment- Laksh was saying in launch event that he is happy helping SidT in accomplishing his dream project while Rohit always says that he is really grateful to Sid Sir that he has entrusted in him and provided him the opportunity to play a character which surpasses the scope of his dreams!! Such a remarkable difference in their attitudes!!

My Apology-

I am really sorry to have hurt your feelings dear.

Maybe I developed a wrong opinion of Laksh as that was the only interview of him that I saw. There his words made it seem like he is used to getting such huge roles and SidT hasn't done a greater good to him by entrusting in him with this role. It looked as if he is doing him a favor by starring in his dream project and he is happy that because of him, SidT could start his dream project. So I thought he thinks too high of himself. MY BAD!!

You are right.. Laksh truly has a world full of opportunities open for him and has achieved a lot of popularity such early in his career and his success today cannot be compared with the ordinate of Rohit's career graph at that moment.

Your anger is valid here but I didn't like the way you bashed Rohit for his career.

You state that the show will only prosper on Laksh's name as he plays the title role no matter how much we praise Rohit. I agree that the titular role gets the most attention but in this case Alexander while not even being the titular character is a very popular historical figure and is the reason why we all know Porus today so he is bound to get a good attention in foreign countries.

You said 'Rohit ne kuch bhi nahin ukhada hai ab tak.. no special fan segments, no awards and no industry acclamation.'
I also agree that Rohit has not done any remarkable role before Razia Sultan and hence he doesn't come near to the popularity of the other good actors of this industry. That should be the same reason for him not having any award or a solid fan base or Industry's acclamation. All his previous roles have been either side characters or appearances in just a few episodes for a show.

For this, I would say, Luck doesn't shine for everyone at all times. Everyone has their own time frame to achieve their goals in life. That was not his time.

Many good actors don't get their due recognition because they don't get a full fledged role to prove their actual worth and potential. This was the same case with him.

If you think that he doesn't deserve this much attention here as he hasn't been able to make a mark even while spending ten years in the industry and there are people who are acclaimed as well as popular unlike him, still I won't hesitate in boasting about how he has proved what he is capable of with his last two performances. Without having an experience of playing the leads, he played them very well.. special mention to the amount of dedication he has put in for a really tough character of Alexander. This guy just needed an opportunity to shine!

I also wouldn't stop wishing about his possible success in future. There's no harm in Hoping for the Best for the person whose craft you admire. If you want to term it as 'flying' then also it's fine! But I am sure his hardwork would pay off in every means in future.

He may not have got invitation from other countries to be called Internatinally recognized like the Naagin cast as you said but he has got a good fan base in Arab countries who admire him a lot. They still run dedicated fan pages for him. Don't call it recognition if you don't like but call it popularity.

Again I am really sorry for driving to a quick conclusion on Laksh and subsequently hurting you and many others here but I really don't appreciate your comments for Rohit. I also don't wish to reform your perception if you consider him a failure because everyone is entitled to have their own opinion and it's these opinions which collectively decide the fate of a performer.

Thank you

The change in titles and roles I think is just lazy writing and lack of attention to detail. They have been getting sloppy with the dialogues too of late.

I still think Porus needs to do what Chanakya said and gain more military strength if he really wants a shot at defeating Alexander. All these sneak attacks are not going to solve the main issue. Even if the Farsi soldiers are convinced to fight with the Bharatis, they won't be able to get here before Barsine travels to Faras and convinces them, and then comes back to Bharat with them in tow. That's going to take a long time and PR needs to be prepared for the fact that Alexander can attack any moment.

Chanakya is still far more cautious because he has a much better understanding of the real threat that Alexander poses. Also the fact that he's seen upfront how "ruthless" Alexander can be makes him realize that the PR family are nowhere quite as "ruthless" - they need to be tougher and more calculating. Strangely enough, this is one point on which Chanakya and Olympias agree on. 😆

I am still waiting to see if there will be further philosophical conflicts between Chanakya and Porus. The fact that we still have a couple of months or more to go before the show ends means Chanakya is likely to visit other kingdoms to ask them to join Porus and most of them will either refuse or will have already been approached by Alexander for alliance. The real Porus had no support and defended his kingdom alone.

You are spot on with the comment about Darius' ousting being possible only through Barsine's decision to stand up for what was right. Likewise with their escape in Faras, but Porus thinks that it's all his own credit. This is what Chanakya is afraid of - overconfidence being the reason for their downfall.

As for Rohit, if you look at his 3 "major" works in recent years (that I know if) - as Karan in Arjun, as Mirza in Razia Sultan, and as Alexander in Porus - the growth he has shown as an actor in such a short span, especially between Mirza and Alexander is remarkable. As you might know, I discovered him through this show and my first impression of him has been as Alexander. It's only when I saw his performances here that I went and started to read about him and then found out about Razia Sultan. I even found his "natural" black hair and bearded look to be weird because I first saw him as a blonde, clean-shaven guy with glittering green eyes. I never once felt he wasn't Alexander, so when I saw him as Mirza I was taken aback by the physical appearance too. On top of that he rocked the Bohemian getup, mannerism, and all that beautiful poetry he recited. I just couldn't reconcile that lover Mirza was played by the this same person breathing life into Alexander's character. I am so proud of him for taking the trouble to transform himself physically and mentally again for this role.

He deserves not one but several golden opportunities! I have never wished so much success on an actor as I do for Rohit. 😆

And you know what, not only do I love his work in this show, I have also been inspired his personal approach and it has positively influenced me in many other ways. I will discuss that later. 😉

No need to apologize that much...its done and dusted ...i had stopped and deleted it because i dint want an argument here but the cat was out of the bag...i wish i hadnt wrote this in the first place. But this is the only comment i will be replying here in this regard ...because at the end of the day...my opinion is my opinion and your opinion is yours. None of us will actually have a change in opinion after this. So its a completely useless argument.

My comment- Laksh was saying in launch event that he is happy helping SidT in accomplishing his dream project while Rohit always says that he is really grateful to Sid Sir that he has entrusted in him and provided him the opportunity to play a character which surpasses the scope of his dreams!! Okay...see dear from the time i have landed in this corporate world...i have become quiet protective about the juniors...and i believe i share this feeling for laksh especially because he just turned 22 ...i have great respect for people who turn themselves into something good at such a young age...because obviously they have put an extra effort than the others in their league and were quiet focused...its quiet difficult to achieve what laksh did at his age...though i dont say laksh is the only one who has done it and neither i claim that he is the best actor on board...but than comparing him with a 10 years elder person and showing him down is something i will not really like to take. Its like belittling his efforts...you felt bad when i sat and compared rohit to his age actors like rati di ...jabki she belongs to the age group.. ..but when it comes to laksh...you dint thought for a moment that he is a child before commenting on his attitude...are yaar...main apni baatein jaise aaj bolti hoon...waise nahi bolti thi when i was 22.. two years back...its not attitude problem even if laksh had actually been a bit proud of himself...he achieved at such a young age...confidence badha rehna is obliviously a trait which will be there ...his first show even was an MTV hit ...and maturity comes with age...though i never actually found him overconfident and haughty ...he is quiet friendly around everyone...moreover you dint actually had a much problem with laksh attitude...you put that line basically to compare and show how rohit was better...ek baat kahoongi dear ...jab koi acha kar raha hain na ...toh woh acha kar raha hain...woh khud ubhar ke aata hain...usse upar uthaane ke liye, doosro ko neeche girane ki jarurat nahi padti hain...sooo if you genuinely feel that rohit is way better and deserve better appreciation as compared to laksh...then dont compare them...woh apne aap hi logo ke liye visible hoga...its kind of ridiculous to compared rohit and laksh...those two are sharing a generation gap dear...(.for the same reason, i hate when people compare rati di to laachi and say rati di is a better actress...its not achievement for di to be better than suhani...she is experienced is all i say always...they also share a generation gap)...so even if rohit's get a lot of popularity with alex...laksh would be hardly affected...laksh ke liye toh he is a senior jisse woh kuch seekh sakta hain...bas...i am sure laksh will never do a... i am better than you with him on any front. And i am sure even rohit will never be interested in comparing himself with laksh...he anyday knows that he is better actor and laksh has a long way to go as an actor...balki woh usse ek senior ki tarah samhalega hi...sikhayega hi. Laksh is team mein abhi sabke liye bacha hi hain. .

i dont know if the good looking actors comment was also for laksh...but laksh isnt just good looking... he was kinda perfect choice for porus character...as they needed someone with a rock solid body and an innocent face...laksh fits the bill very well...he is a hardworking chap...for once i will like to mention that every actor working in porus is obviously hardworking. Its no joke working in such historical shows i believe after seeing so many interviews from the actors there. And out of them...laksh has to perform the maximum scenes ...so the amount of effort he must have been putting cant be compared...and he is good for his age...he has shown improvement from his previous shows and that i believe is what is important.

Laksh is definitely not to used to getting roles like porus...his mtv show wasnt a single lead like this show...they were 6 people...his pardes was a side lead ...he has done just a single lead before porus and that was hamari adhoori kahaani which was no where near to porus fame ...and he has been really thankful to siddharth sir for giving this role to him...to trust him with his dream show...he has also mentioned in various interviews ki yeh show uske apne dream ki shuruvat hain...i am no fan of him par itna toh main bhi clearly keh sakti hoon that he doesn't think he has done some ehsan on Siddharth sir...unfortunately I haven't even seen the interview you watched through which you made this conclusion ...but I am still sure that he didn't meant it that way.

You are right.. Laksh truly has a world full of opportunities open for him and has achieved a lot of popularity such early in his career and his success today cannot be compared with the ordinate of Rohit's career graph at that moment.

I am glad you did agreed to it.

Your anger is valid here but I didn't like the way you bashed Rohit for his career.

I know that you will not like that...and that's why I deleted it because I knew we will end up in an argument...how can a fan like that anyway...if some other celebrity fan who has bigger achievements comparatively comes to me and tell me what rati di has achieved...i won't like it either. That's human.

See...dear what I feel is if the show gets rejected on laksh not being able to attract audience ...laksh not being able to convince as porus...then nobody can actually save it in any country...it wont become a hit...neither rohit, nor rati di, nor sameeksha, nor the actor playing Chanakya can save it then ...chahe yeh log kitne bhi ache actors ho...the reason being that their screenspace is quiet limited and especially in the starting episodes of this show...alexander was hardly present...and trust me no tv audience would sit and watch a show and wait for the 2 minutes scenes ...nobody has that kind of patience...you guys are watching on net and thus you all do it. So chahe laksh logo ka favorite na bane...but show use/porus ki story ko like karne se hi click hoga kahi bhi...kyonki that's the major track of show...after the show is clicked and people turn to it every day...obviously acting skills will come into picture and good actors will take the appreciations but credit...credit will go to laksh...if porus becomes a hit anywhere...laksh will get the maximum credit for it ...the first person called will be laksh because he was the titular role...mahabharata had such good actors but who got the maximum appreciation...it was shaheer...kyonki woh mahabharta ka hero tha as he played arjun. I hope you are getting what I am trying to state...trust me praneet did a way better job than shaheer there...I have watched that show...but the person called for all the meets and greets was shaheer...though its not like people dint loved praneet's shakuni there. He was loved a lot but the credit still did went to shaheer quiet majorly.

I don't really know the career graph of Rohit ...but wikipedia tells he started with some lead in sanskar lakshmi... that's quiet an old show. He has done a second lead to anas rashid in some show too. So I am not sure if Razia sultan was his first lead role...and if it was ...toh see things aren't that easy to get...it took him so much time to even be there...so its okay if laksh also takes time now. And if Razia and porus are the only shows which gave rohit a chance to perform ...than I really feel you guys should be thankful to siddharth sir for being there for him...because he is then such an important person in making him. I mean you guys are fans of rohit and you say bad about the only producer who gave him the chance to perform. You know Siddharth sir has also given rati di a platform back and I am so thankful to him for that... she finally came back with Siddharth sir's begusarai and again he gave her a role like anusuya in porus. I have huge respect for Siddharth sir that he has been helping good actors and giving a platform to them to perform. Though I cant deny the fact that Siddharth sir has messed the story up...but still if porus show wasn't there at all...toh na rohit ka char hota and na rati di ka.

For this, I would say, Luck doesn't shine for everyone at all times. Everyone has their own time frame to achieve their goals in life. That was not his time.

Ya obviously...luck mostly does plays a very important role...i won't deny that.Ya obviously...luck mostly does plays a very important role...i won't deny that.

Many good actors don't get their due recognition because they don't get a full fledged role to prove their actual worth and potential. This was the same case with him.

I can obviously agree with this too...see I have nothing against rohit...yaar he is performing good...aage badega toh mera kya hi jaayega...i got riled up on the comparison thing. I knew it wasn't actually right comparing him with di either...her story is different...everybody has a different story...thats why I just deleted it. This all just riles up...sadly I was too late in deleting...you already read it.

See nobody is born with the experience to play the leads...so I wont agree with like ki use experience nahi tha...phir bhi usne lead ache se play kiya...di also played lead nicely in her first show ...while her second show as a lead is still her most popular show amongst the youth till date...regarding the amount of dedication and hardwork he is putting in...for me in the team...each member has been working that hard...you as a fan might feel its him only...that's okay...my opinion is different...13 kg ki jewellery uthakar jo log kaam kar rahe hain...unki mehnat bhi koi kam nahi hain...na unki kam thi joh apni aankh ko makeup se band karke kaam karte the...and regarding him shining...I don't see him shine as of now ...he is a good actor but he isn't shining...may be because he is not the only good actor in porus...may be he does in future...may be through this show only in the other countries...but shining is not what rohit got as of now...he is being appreciated for his performance by his fans only till now...i would like to see industry people appreciating him...and I am not saying that he doesn't deserve it ...I am literally saying that he should have that...would help in his near future. Siddharth sir has been a guide;...i believe his words do matter in the industry a lot...so even if he mentions something good in any of his interviews...it will make a difference. Abhi tak toh he mentioned just di as his favorite openly...hopefully he gives a full fledged interview...praising all the deserving actors of this show...its always good to praised by the people who have trusted you with their work...i am sure Siddharth sir must have praised rohit a lot offscreen for various scenes...hope he does that in onscreen interview too.

I also wouldn't stop wishing about his possible success in future. There's no harm in Hoping for the Best for the person whose craft you admire. If you want to term it as 'flying' then also it's fine! But I am sure his hardwork would pay off in every means in future.

See...there is no harm in hoping the best for your person...even I want rati di next show to be a lead and feel like the show should just become the best show on television...that's human...but putting others down to raise our favorites isn't right either. And too much of anything is harmful...i don't like it as a person when people claim that porus ko log jhelenge in other countries and come up with bas rohit fans banayega...trust me...that just stops people who have good things to say about him from even commenting on him ...i myself have never went on and commented on rohit's insta on any of his performance or even here because of the same reason. Shayad agar is forum par itna rohit rohit nahi hota...toh kaafi ratians ko rohit pasand hota. I don't know how much my this logic works for you but I felt like stating that.

He may not have got invitation from other countries to be called Internatinally recognized like the Naagin cast as you said but he has got a good fan base in Arab countries who admire him a lot. They still run dedicated fan pages for him. Don't call it recognition if you don't like but call it popularity.

Trust me...every celeb enjoys that...every show is running out of india now...the time has gone when only some shows got that pleasure ...di did har ghar kuch kehta around 10 years back...it rerunning...it ran last year only once again...dedicated fan pages on insta isn't a big thing either for me...i neither call it recognition nor popularity. I feel the same for the actress I love. So its not like I am being biased on this to rohit only...I can agree that your opinion might be different from mine...but ya as you said...its still not recognition...its popularity. Recognition is definitely when you are called for meets & greets as guests. Ahhh that success...hope both rati di and rohit do taste that someday in their life.

See I am not a very big laksh fan or something...i just went protective ...so you don't need to be that sorry...Its not like ...i have cried over this or something...mujhe bas rati di par ki gayi baatein hi rula sakti hain...aur nahi...I dont consider rohit a failure as such ...i just wanted to make you feel that how it feels when you compare two actors and put one down. Though i did realize that i shouldn't do that and that was the reason...i just deleted my comment.

Thank you

You are right dear! It was a really a ridiculous comment. But trust me I had written it rather impulsively on my first instinct. And that good looks comment was definitely not for him!
We as fans are thankful to SidT for recognizing his talent and giving him opportunity.. but we criticize him here because he is distorting history as well as the character of the real Alexander. Let's not hold a grudge for this.
