I know on one hand it does feel like Zoya is being too nave in her understanding of Aditya's feelings ..but if we really break it down from her POV ..she's not entirely to blame.
Frankly IMO ..Zoya has neither experienced friendship NOR real love. Zoya loved Yash but it didn't seem like it was the other way round to a large extent - so while Zoya might know what she feels when she is in love ..she doesn't know what it feels when someone else loves her! ..That's a totally new experience for her to understand what it is like to be loved by someone else with all their heart and soul.
If Aditya was indeed Zoya's best friend - keeping her best interests in mind, he would advise her against a hasty marriage and to focus on her career etc. From Zoya's POV this doesn't come across as his romantic love for her ..it's more like a friend looking out for her and making sure she doesn't take the wrong path...When I first met a guy in college - many of my friends (girls and boys) had a lot of things to say about him - but I was crazy about him and I kept it going until I realized for myself that many aspects of his nature and character were not something I could live with!! ..But none of those boys who actually told me things about him were saying it because they loved me!! .it was just out of friendship and even today we are great friends!
Yash's love was all about giving zoya comfort, pampering her and not making her see the world for what it is!..in Zoya's opinion that is what is love, perhaps as she was completely happy with Yash! ..Like Arshad opening the car door and such chivalrous charms she's used to -
Also, given that Adi was so mad with Pooja and Yash, it's really hard for Zoya to imagine that he'd actually love her ..something needs to happen that makes her fall in love with him!
.she still needs to realize that Adi helping her stand up on her two feet and be an independent girl is not his friendship but his love! I just wish in this case Adi gives her the time and lets her decide on her own ..I don't want him forcing his love on her either ..
Perhaps in these 2 weeks Zoya will see parallels between Arshad and Yash and realize how the two of them kind of treat her like some delicate darling ..and then she'll realize how contrasting Adi is and she really cannot be with someone who doesn't think of her as an equally capable human ..
Let's see what CVs have in store ..but i'm quite liking the way things are going until now ..i'm traveling next week so won't be able to watch the epis ..so will binge watch on my return :))
We can be sure we'll be in for a very angsty and passion filled AdiYa confession ..if we don't get then then i'll do my share of ranting :)) Hopefully Arshad doesn't be the one to tell Zoya that Aditya loves her and that kind ..I want Zoya to realize it on her own ..just like Adi did!!
