Today's scene

I have been totally off Kaleerein recently. Sometimes I wonder how there is so little continuity in the episodes - for example to show that Meera has run away from home Vivaan gets a call from the hospital saying "your wife has run away from the hospital. ... whaaat? She has been discharged, you dimwits!! Or the lack of explanation with which Nimoo returned. When I watch scenes like that I always wonder why I am watching a show whose writers don't exhibit basic intelligence ... and then I get scenes like today that show real depth and beauty.

The song with Meera and Vivaan remembering different scenes of their relationship. Him all the sweet moments and her the painful ones. Without words the writers managed to show why he is hopeful and she despairs of ever making it work.

There have been other beautiful scenes but for me this comes right there on top with my all time favourite - one where Meera's Kabaddi is disapproved by every family member and Naina from Dangal is playing. That scene broke my heart.

I agree. They do some things that doesnt make sense. And their are episodes like today that make us want to see more of what happens next.
