Thought of this but he himself denied it to be the case yesterday.
2. They could show us flash backs of kartik almost going to naira but every time he decided to something would happen like suwarna dumping his phone in water...suwarna having attacks each time he tried until he settled into not going anywhere
It won't redeem Karthik. I mean Karthik playing puppet can't be blamed on Suwrana. He chose to to one.
3. Suwarna's biggest aim in life was to ruin kartik's life. As she hated manish and dadi for some out there reason. And just pretended to be a door mat. Shubham wasnt manish's son. She used naira to get close to kartik and when she did she sunk her tallons in to get rid of naira and now is bent on making him end up killing himself. By marrying him off to someone else. As she knows it will kill kartik...
Though Yeh rishta has turned out to be melodramatic after parting with its quintessence to a great extent, still a long way to see it turned into Ekta planet. In the end cvz would be like Suwrana; I did it because I thought Karthik too hates Niara and he is too hurt to have Naira back in his life. I never knew he was doing it out of guilt for separating Shubham from family and Suwrana for so many years.
4.someone black mailing him after murdering shubham to keep away from naira (most unlikely)
Aditya Killing Shubham would be more genuine than Karthik being blackmailed. 😊 Or Suwrana's brother making Shubham drug addict for his greed. Suwarna knew the truth behind Shubham's death but kept blaming Naira becaue she was psycho and could not take the fact that Naira who always solved every trouble could not save her son with some miracle.
Him being stupid (this more likely) nobody is perfect. He isnt perfect. He had too much to deal with. He chose the bottle to cope with his problems. that ddn help... more than anything it just wasted two years of his life
This is what is shown to us. Though we hate him for this as his character is brutally undone. This we know but its not something which we can't think of. So I placed cvz on a higher rank if they can surprise us with something different. Otherwise its obvious he did it out of guilt. He was trying to punish himself for being the reason (to his view) for Suwarna's sacrifice. He wanted Niara too to join him in his self punishment exercises. 😆
But the more i think about it i think only num 3 could make him go off scott free if suwarna takes the fall for everything.
Other than that...nothing else can really redeem him.
Nothing can redeem him! The professed ideals of High Love collapsed. Even the best of romantic songs and the best of romantic location and their couple dance won't bring back that passionate bonding.
His reasoning and mistakes are just beyond me sometimes...dow i do have moments where i sit back and try to understand things from his pov and get a better understanding of him...

He gets on my nerves when he does it but pity is this is all that he does post leap. 😆
Last whats done can't be undone! Let's be happy with his guilt stricken scenes if cvz are kind enough to give us. At least let him remember Naira pleading him to listen to her. And then he insulting her for running away in freshers party. (She looked so damn pretty)
If they can't give such scenes at least make Niara ignore him and his clan. I wan't Naira to be firm in saying no to the pretense he and they want her to do.
