Amazing analysis as always! I agree with everything you have said so nothing to add that. A few of my thoughts below.
The best comment I read on twitter yesterday addressed to Gulneet was not to misunderstand our love and appreciation for Narbhi's acting abilities as our enjoyment of the actual storyline itself. I couldn't have put it better myself. We are full of praise for NM/ SC and for how nuanced their performances have been but there is absolutely nothing in this awful writing that is attracting us as the audience. I also believe they have crossed the line with the TRP audience and can't imagine this garnering good ratings. I can't believe I was only cribbing yesterday about a lack of attraction from Anika's side (thank you for your response but I feel all my points are now redundant!), and today I just want Shivika to die in a terribly tragic accident and wake up from this nightmare that is AU.

One of the constant complaints from all the fandoms in IB is that SSO is HS's favourite and she only really writes for him. There is no doubt that HS has butchered all the characters in IB to some extent. However I am yet to experience a writer who has so deliberately and wilfully destroyed her so called favourite in the way HS has done to SSO, not once but twice! At least with the first forced wedding she took him to the edge and than pulled him back in time but this time she has pushed him using both her hands into a very deep, dark abyss. I just can't see how she will redeem him this time.

HS clearly has some fantasies about dark hero's (read anti-heroes) and has allowed herself to indulge in them on this occasion. I truly believe the only reason she has taken such a huge risk is because she has the best get out of jail card in RU/AU. I can already see how the future scenarios might play out. If Shivaay's journey to redemption doesn't pan out in the way she wished for we will see the misunderstandings cleared in the blink of an eye. The evil kapoor siblings will be shipped off to jail with all the respect and care only villains are afforded in our show. Anika (dependent on writer sahiba's mood) will be shown as cold and indifferent. Shivaay will fall to his knees, curse himself and showcase the mother of all puppy eyes. He will apologise for his deeds and everyone will melt because Billu has learnt to apologise only for Anika. She will refuse to accept his apology but will secretly begin to thaw because let's face it no one is immune to those puppy dog eyes. They will have a few intimate moments and O jaana will make a return and we will scream for all the cuteness. D the kameena will escape jail and take a shot at Anika. Of course our very own villain SSO will turn hero and save his loves life and will land in hospital. He will go into a coma because he wants to die as he can't forgive himself. Anika will find out this and go all cray, cray because she realises she has fallen in love. She will declare her undying love and than the magical tear will take care of everything else. He will wake up and through tear soaked eyes declare his love. We will go awww and the mental man will go arghhh! Just like that our beloved Shivika will awake. Shivaay will cup Anika's face and apologise for everything and reinforce the fact it wasn't him but that evil man. She will of course not allow him to apologise reiterating that it wasn't him but that crazy man. They will lecture the bad man and flick a birdie (I hope they do) and walk off holding hands proving they really are soulmates. No butchering of characters. Shivika and Shivaay progression in tact. Shivika happy, fandom happy and HS very, very happy. I know you are reading this HS, make it happen!!

So sorry for going off on a complete tangent but this really was the worst episode of IB in terms of butchering Shivika. Although I say that with some trepidation as we have not yet seen tonight's episode.

-So Annika is terribly humiliated, called names by all including SSO(to be continued in today's episode as well), Gauri witnesses all of this & may be in future too but as per Annika she shall collapse as a pack of cards if their mom's infidelity truth comes up? TErrible logic for blackmail by the writers 🤢!! Gauri was taken care off by Annika so it's, Annika's pain that should hit Gauri. But we shall be treated to what an awesome sister Annika is, who sacrificed for her Sister!!

-Agreed Shivaay is unable to look beyond his sister's comatose state for now & being fueled by Daksh, but how is marrying a women with all the rituals, in front of god, in the presence of a priest (as in a witness) & then labeling the said wife as a mistress going to achieve anything at all? If he had not married her then she could have been his lover or a girl he slept with. But now he married her and he himself has given her the position of a wife. The societal reaction itself is shown wrong here, the man married the girl he had an affair with (note the said man is not married to somebody else in the first place), why at all is Annika being humiliated by chachi & the people. He not taking her to his house or her marital home is another issue all together. For this she cannot be labeled as SSO's mistress. Again the writers are not thinking how this looks to the viewers.
