Shivaay:"What's wrong...I have never seen Sahil do something like this before...?"
Principal:"I called you because he picked up a fight with one of his classmates...I thought you two might be able to knock some sense...but he is so pissed off about meeting you...And has locked himself inside his dorm..."
Annika:"I really don't understand what's going on with Sahil...this is something I have never seen...He has always been very loving, mature and responsible...but now..."
Principal:"And also Miss.Annika...He has told me to tell you that he isn't going anywhere from this school..."
Annika held her head with her hands...
Principal:"Sahil has always been far ahead of his classmates in terms of maturity and responsibility...but we shouldn't forget that he is just an 8 year old...maybe it's the dread of his family breaking that has brought out this rebel phase..."
Principal:"sorry if you feel that I'm intruding on your personal affairs...but Sahil is one of my favourite students...Since the day one he would fill me in about his Kidkithod Annika didi and his tadibaaz bhagad billa SSO... and seeing him like this pains my heart..."
Principal:"I'll leave you two to discuss about it and come to a conclusion...And after than you can go meet the kid.."
Shivaay and Annika walked out of the office And walked towards the dorm...

Annika:"Telling him the truth was the worst thing I have ever done in life..."
Shivaay:"So what would you have preferred ..making up excuses for us not being together...?And how would you explain my absence when you leave to Goa with him...?Permanently send me abroad for business trip...?You really haven't thought this through isn't it Annika...?"
Annika:"I never expected this would happen..."
Shivaay laughed without slightly feeling the humor...
Shivaay:"You are blinded Annika...you think you know what's good for others...but you really have no clue about it...And you are so egotistical that you don't even try to take help from others...do you know how I felt when I came to know about you planning Sahil's transfer from an outsider...?"
Annika:"Dont you dare accuse me of being dense...And don't you dare play the victim card on me...I tried to contact you...but you are the one refused to hear me...look Shivaay i know that you want to move on from this sham relationship that we had...And you have shown me in a thousand ways how you hate me..."
Shivaay:"Hate...You have no idea...do you...only thing you are now doing is driving a bulldozer right to people's perfect lives because you think that's best for the other...who do you think you are...?"
Annika:"In case you missed HE IS MY BROTHER...You don't know anything Shivaay...''
Shivaay:"I may not know everything Annika...but I'm not a kid that you have to keep me protected all the time...I have had my share of problems to deal with...And I can take ccare of things of my own...And same goes for Sahil too...give the little guy some credit...He was the one who asked me to stick the gifts I gave him in place where Sun doesn't shine when I tried to bribe him into staying at OM after our wedding...He agreed to my conditions only when he was 100% sure that I'll keep you happy..."
Annika:"I got to look out for him...He has got only me now..."
Shivaay:".He has got me too and I care about him too...ypu can't go on taking decisions concerning him without consulting with me...I can't let you take outlandish decisions Sahil's Life..."
Annika:"Yes I can...And it's not outlandish...you would have known the reason if you had really been a " brother" to Sahil..besides you have no right to play the victim here.. ..I tried to contact you...but you down right refused to speak to me and then had the nerve to make your Secretary inform me to contact you only through your attorney..."
Shivaay:"I had my secretary call you and inform you that...?woman you are really delusional..."
Annika:"Delusional...?oh so we are going to play this game...?"
Shivaay:"You are the one who started..."
Annika:"look , Sahil is my brother Shivaay...your relationship with him comes through me...and since we are no longer married to each other...you don't have any authority over my decisions about him and his future..."
Shivaay:"We are no longer married to each other...?says who...?Sorry to burst your bubble but, we can file for divorce only after the completion of one year of marriage...so there is still one month for that...And do you know what that means...?it means we are still married to each other...wifey dearest..."
Annika:"What are you saying Shivaay...?"
Shivaay:"what I'm saying is that... If you so much as step out of Mumbai with Sahil without my approval too I'll bring down the full police force on you for going against the custody conditions..."
Annika:"I'm the one who gave you those rights Shivaay...and you know the situation in which that happened...after Daksh tried to kill me I was scared that my brother will be an orphan without anybody to look after in case something happened to me..."
Shivaay:"I don't care...but I can't let you take Sahil away from me...you are free to go anywhere and everywhere...but Sahil Will study here in Mumbai...I'm not doing this to ruin Sahil's future...this school is my alma mater...one of the prestigious schools in whole India...All of the Oberoi clan has done their schooling there..."
Annika:"Sahil is not an Oberoi..."
Shivaay:"He is my brother...And I won't let you take him away from me..."
Annika:"ok I get it...you are doing this to get back at me for what I did that day...but stop bringing my brother to our fight every time Shivaay..."
Shivaay:"Well you can Think of it that way too Annika...I don't care...but you aren't taking sahil away from Mumbai...away from me..."
Annika:"Why are you doing this...?"
Shivaay was about to speak when he saw Sahil watching them from afar tearfully...
Trying to shake off the picture of an angry couple going through a bad separation that they were painting Shivaay and Annika mellowed down their expressions and planted a smile...
Annika:"Sahil..."
Shivaay:"Come here champ..."
Sahil:"So everything they say is true...?that I'll lose you...?would I have to take appointments to meet my Annika didi and Shivaay bhaiyya...?"
Annika:"Sahil...aisa kuch nahi hein..."
Shivaay:"It's just that things didn't work out between us...it's not anybody's fault...it's just that we failed to understand and trust each other..."
Annika:"But know this no matter what happens to us...we will always be their for you...we will keep you happy always..."
Sahil:"I only want you two to be happy didi...You two are my favourites in this whole world...And if you are together I'll be happy for ever..."
Shivaay made Sahil sit between them...
Shivaay:"Trust us Sahil...just give us some time to work this out..."
Annika:"We love you...And we will sort this out..."
Sahil:"Pinky Promise...?"
Shivaay and Annika:"Pinky promise..."
Sahil let out a sigh of relief...he had a heard a lot from his friends about what happens after divorce...And it had scared the hell out of him...but he had a small ray of hope in him that Shivaay bhaiyya and Annika didi will sort out their differences...
Annika kissed her little brother while Shivaay messed with his hair...
Sahil:"Didi...geeli geeli kissiya dena band karo...And SSO stop messing with my stylish hairstyle...I have an image to maintain in front of my fans..."
Annika:"Nautanki..."
Annika said as Shivaay and Sahil burst out laughing...
Sahil took Annika's handbag and fished out the tiffin of aloo paratte with chana curry she used to bring out every time she came to see him...
Shivaay peeped into the Tiffin box to check on the aloo paratte...
Shivaay:"Wah...your cooking skills has definitely improved..."
Annika:"And why is that a surprise...?"
She asked him raising her eyebrows...
Shivaay:"Nothing...pehle tho pani bhi jalathi thi..."
He said hi-fiving with Sahil...
Annika:"Ha...ha...very funny..."
Sahil took a piece of aloo poori and dipped it in the chana curry...
Shivaay gave such a pained expression that she and Sahil burst out laughing...
Shivaay:"I'M ALIVE..."
He said dramatically, munching on it...
Annika:"Drama Queen..."
To which Shivaay raised his eyebrows questioningly...And the three of them burst out laughing...
The little family sat in the park watching the sunset together having fun for the first time after three months...
