I saw Sairat finally this weekend. A sublime film... but the climax was like a richter 10 earthquake.

My heart tore seeing the baby looking at the parents in a pool of blood, the cries and his walking out there barefoot. I was bawling like a Rudaali. 😭 😭 😭 Felt so many emotions for the parents and the uncertain future of the kid. I wanted to tear the screen and hug the baby and ADOPT him. And go on vengeful spree kill bill style to hunt down the perpetrators.

This movie deserves a SEQUEL!!! The kid grows up and butchers his mamaji and his 2rs bandhu just like that. Lagey haath give two laafad and zehar to the jaahil Nana. 🤢 All these honor killers should be buried or cremated alive.

I'll watch Manjule's Fandry tonight. Its on Netflix too.

P.S: I want Kangana to start sending feelers to Manjule. She'll fit in his realistic cinema.

The climax had me too.It was absolute gut-wrench!

I haven't watched Sairat and only heard that the climax is a very tragic one but had no clue as to what exactly happens,so when there was like just a few minutes of the film left at the end and Parthavi's brother comes to visit, I thought,ok,things are looking quite hunky dory so a reconciliation and a happily ever afters may just possibly be on the cards now, as to what sort of tragedy could possibly strike with just 2-3 minutes left?And then shockingly enough came that spine chilling thud, followed by the haunting,eerie silence and Pathavi's shocked,grief stricken face with the muted out screams,and then coming to know that the innocent little child was also not spared.His very own mama very casually takes his own nephews life without a second thought.That alone is enough to numb any soul I'd say!

You can make a song and dance of it all you want but trust me, nobody's going to listen. Been there done that and have now learnt to live with it.
You can try appeal to Vijay sir, but I can guarantee you won't have much luck there either. I've been waiting for him to get back to my pleas for the last 8 months or so,but not a peep outta him as of yet lol.

Justice won't be served no matter what you do, so my advice to you is, just try and behave the best you can and stay out of any sort of controversy.This is what I'm trying to do as well these days lol.

Sharam sequel is more possible then sairat cause isn't into Bollywood drama...

In one of his interviews someone asked him if his movie is inspired from qsqt... So his reply was that, 'Bollywood teaches him to not emulate them, to not do what they do '

seen dhadhak n despite the shocking element in the climax, the feel is no where close to Sairat

REASON - is simple, they wanted to make a commercial HIT out of it. the caste system was removed which Sairat such a legendary movie. there's too much glamour and gloss for a movie like this. Really Dharma hasn't made up a great film with the exception of Wake Up Sid.

Sairat is a film u would want to watch after watching Dhadak coz i hadn't watched it and believe me Sairat gives more chills...the director has used his own references and reality into the story which can't be said about Dhadak.

but anyways it doesn't matter really know as DHADAK has done its job. its a HIT film which all matters. Shashank Khaitan delivers a HAT TRICK...

but I am looking up for something original and refreshing like WUS from Dharma which is too much to ask for
