I knew it was a tragic film but , ending was too shocking.
Was like a Anurag Kashyap film.

I hated seeing Jhanhvi Cry.

Very distressing ending. I would suggest to not watch last 10 min , esp for BP patients

Did they show the couple getting murdered ? Or only Ishaan is killed ? Did they have a baby...Maybe they didnt want the young couple to be shown as parents in the debut role...

I feel seeing that small baby walking away without anyone around is more hard hitting... not only was he deprived of his parent's love at such an innocent age, but also there is no-one to look out for him, so who knows where he ends up...

talking about sairaat's ending there.

SPOILER AHEAD!!!!!!!

they do have a son, and its ishaan and the son that get murdered, jhanvi's character walks to the local shop to i think get mithai, she walks back to the house and both ishaan and the son are thrown off the balcony in front of her, and then wat u see is her shocked and screaming face as the camera slowly moves to a wider shot showing ishaan and the sons bodies on the floor

ok...that is very gruesome... I agree, it will be traumatic to watch for anyone, esp sensitive people...

watch Sairaat's ending too... its silent, not at all gruesome, but very very hard hitting...esp the baby walking away unattended

@zara : thats too cruel...even reading it gave my goosebumps...

I think most people here will be fine to watch it. I mean a couple of people have called Janhvi's acting "wooden lol so if they don't like her acting and can't connect - doubt they'll be sensitive enough to be affected by the ending g

Just watched the film in the afternoon. Although, I do prefer the original film and the ending, Dhadak also manages to shock viewers the way Sairat did. Almost all of us in the theater gasped when 'that' moment was shown.

Dhadak also has a silent ending except the (SPOILERS) sound that first comes when the bodies hit the ground. After that her screams are only shown and not heard.

SPOILERS!

Totally. They do manage to confuse the original film viewers by making the baby crawl into the house and Jahnvi immediately picking him up. When they separate her from Ishaan and the kid, I guessed she would be spared, but didnt think it would be executed by suddenly having their bodies thrown off the building. That 'thud' shocked me to the core. It seemed as hard hitting as the original one.
