I met neil for the first time when his family came to our house for asking avni's hand for marriage."Neil is good looking,well settled as an Acp ,well mannered in short he is the most eligible bachelor in town.No one can reject him.we had given our consent to this alliance avi because you told us you will marry the one chosen by us."I heard all these words from avni's mom neela pareikh.
But avni was not satisfied somewhere.After her mother left the room ,she said to me "Don't you think all these things are happening too early?Am I ready for a marriage?"After a lot of thinking She had kept a condition that she wants to have a private talk with neil before marriage.
Neil agreed to her condition immediately.
Avneil's meeting was arranged in avni's room .I was sitting on the bed beside avni.
Both were hesitant to initiate the conversation
After stealing some glances with each other,neil broke the ice between them
(A-Avni,N-Neil)
N:-Hii
A(nervously):-Hii
A:-can I ask you a question?
N:-yeah why not?
A:-why do you want to marry me?
N:-Because my parents want me to.I promised them that I will marry the girl chosen by them.
A:-Ohhh
N:-Hey don't take me wrong.I am not doing this marriage to fulfill my responsbilities .It's just like that I want to go with the flow in my life
A:-Yeah I can understand,even I agreed because of the same
N(smiling):-So we have a similarity
A:-I want to continue my studies even after marriage.I want to become a lawyer.I am currently studying second year now.It will take 2 more years to settle down

N:-I would be happy if you continue your studies.I don't want our marriage to become a hurdle in fulfilling your dreams.Avni I believe that marriage is not an end to a girl's career.You can do whatever you want.Even my family will be elated on knowing this.
A(sighing with relief):-Thank you so much neil.I was so tensed that how will you react.
They both talked for some time and walked out of the room.
Soon AVNEIL got married with each other
I also acompained avni to her maternal home.Wherever avni will go,she will take me with her for sure.It is her habit .
On avneil's first night,after a hectic day Avneil changed into casuals and decided to sleep.
"These two are very unromantic"I thought
As usual avni placed me beside her.She cuddles me while sleeping.Neil saw her placing me in between them.
N:-Avni what are you doing yaar?
What is this?
A:-Neil ,I forgot to introduce him to you.So meet my best friend Mr.Bruce .
Neil started laughing very hard.
Avni's expressions changed from smile to frown and to pout in a few seconds
A:-Neil why are you laughing huh?
N:-What should I do avni? I don't know that you will still sleep with a teddy bear.
A:-Neil he is not a teddy bear.He is my best friend bruce.Now will you stop laughing?
Neil stops laughing for a minute and starts laughing again
Avni's patience had crossed limits now
She started to hit neil with pillow
A big pillow fight had taken place between them.
Both were very tired.They fell on me and drifted to sleep
Poor me!I had to bear their weight for one whole night
Days passed.Avni was in her final year of law.She used to study late at nights.
Neil used to acompany her till she drifted to sleep.
One night avni was studying as usual.
Sensing that she is sleepy,neil went out to make a coffee for her.By the time neil came back to their room avni was sleeping on the study table.
Neil saw her sleeping in a uncomfortable position.
He lifted her up to place her on the bed
"You are so thin but you are soo heavy yaar " neil muttered under his breath.But I heard it. He carefully made her sleep on the bed beside me.He stares at her lovingly for some time.He removed hair strands falling all over her face to get a clear view of her beautiful face.
He smiled sheepishly for a few minutes while looking at me.My sixth sense told me that he was going to take revenge on me.In a blink of eye,he lifted me up and threw me on the couch and he slept beside avni.
You are jealous of me boy I thought
Why would not he be jealous?After all avni gives more attention to me .
Time flew very quickly.Avni completed her law .She joined as assistant lawyer under her father-in-law Prakash khanna who was a reputed lawyer to gain some experience on neela maa's suggestion.
At last the day came where avni had taken up her first case.Avni was very nervous .She was constantly roaming all around the room .I was watching her actions .
This girl is taking tension unnecessarily.I am sure she will rock the case I thought
Just then neil came inside .
Avni didn't noticed him.
He came and stand infront of avni.
Avni was lost in her thoughts .She bumped into neil and was about to lost her balance.But neil held her by her waist on time and prevent her from falling.They both shared an eyelock.
N:-Avni I want to tell you something
A:-Hmmm
N:-My hands are paining.
A:-Hmmm
Avni realized what neil had told her a few seconds before
She straightened herself with a jerk and started hitting neil
They both Started laughing
Avni looked intently towards neil for some time.She hugged him tightly.
Neil had to balance both of them by holding the wall behind them.
A:-Thank you so much neil for making me smile.You made me forget my tension
Neil moves his hand through her hair lovingly.
Avni had left for the court.
"Avni had left without saying goodbye to me.Haww!All this happened because of neil" I thought.
As I thought,avni won the case.
To celebrate her victory,khannas threw a party.
There entered Mitali ,the chipkoo (That's what avni calls her) into the house.Mitali was throwing herself on neil .Avni was fuming on seeing her.Neil was looking for someone to save him from that chipkoo.Avni went towards the bar counter .she took 2 wine glasses and goes towards neil n mitali.She pretended that she was going to fall and threw that 2 glasses of wine on mitali's white dress.Mitali screamed loudly and left from there.
Not giving any chance to speak for neil avni barged into their room
Now all of you are thinking how I know all these details.Right?Avni herself told me.Because I am her BF arey best friend ,she will share everything with me

Phew 1194 words ,this was a long shot.So I am going to divide into 2 parts.
