"DEADLY VIRUS: EXORA 2 CASE"

'Riya' was Arjun's first thought. This file brought back all the emotions he was trying to escape - love, sorrow, pain and longing. "Arjun sir" kept ringing in his ears. Suddenly he was consumed by pure rage. Someone was going to be the victim of his wrath and that someone just happened to be Kirti.

Arjun took the file just started yelling, "Yeh kya batemeezi hai Kirti?" Kirti came out of her dreamland and like everyone was shocked to see angry Arjun. "Tumhari himmat kaise hui iss file ko haath lagane ki. Kya karne ki koshish kar rahi thi? Dobara kabhi iss file ko haath lagaya toh mujhse bure koi nahi hoga."

Now even Kirti was mad, "Tum mujhpe kyun chilla rahe ho. Aisa kya hai iss file mein jo tum itna react kar rahe ho. Mujhe ek purana case study karna hai aur main issi case pe research karungi samjhe tum. Mujhe pata hai yeh koi Riya Mukherjee ka case hai. Lagti kya thi wo tumhari? Maine basics bhi padh liye hai...ab mujhe yeh file waapis karo." And she tries to take hold of the file. Rathod, Chotu and Shree were shocked to hear that name.

Arjun's anger has now shot up to the sky. "Ek baar mein samajh nahi aata...dur raho iss file se. Apne seniors se baat karne ki tameez nahi hai tumhe? Hogi bhi kaise...agar beauty contest ki bajai school gayi hoti toh itne manners to aate hi tumhe. Aur khabar daar jo tumne Riya ke baare mein kuch bhi pata kiya toh. Main bhool jaaunga ki tum ek ladki ho. Iss file aur iss case ke baare mein ab baat bhi nahi hogi. Got it?" Saying this he took the file with him and left the conference hall.

Here, Kirti was very angry but determined to know about this case. Rathod gave her an angry look and walked out as well. Shree and Chotu had tears in their eyes. Sakshi, Aisha and Liza were confused to see these reactions. Before they could further inquire, they were ordered to finish the paperwork.

In Arjun's cabin

Arjun was still fuming. He opened the file and his anger changed into pain upon seeing her picture. Her, Riya Mukherjee. The girl who haunted his dreams at night. His brain started drifting off to their first meet.

*Flashback*

It was Sheen kidnapping case. Arjun was appointed to this case upon Raghu sir's request. It was also Riya's first time on field and away from her research desk. Riya saw someone near the car in which Sheen was before her kidnapping. She took her gun and pointed it towards the man and slowly walked closer to him. Arjun noticed a girl coming towards him with a gun in the car's mirror. He acted quickly and attacked her. Riya was caught off-guard but quickly fought back. A few seconds of struggle later, they were both face to face.

Both were shocked to see each other. A sense of familiarity passed through them. Both felt like they had met each other before. Riya just kept gazing at this handsome man in front of her. Mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai ki main inhe sadiyon se jaanti hoon...Aur inki aankhon mein ek ajeeb sa dard hai. Control Riya yeh tumhe kya ho raha hai.

On the other hand, Arjun was completely lost in her. He felt an unknown connection. Hosh mein aao Arjun. Tum yeh sab kya soch rahe ho. Roshni ko yaad karo.

Rathod's voice broke their trance and separated them. But both knew that they felt something which will create lots of problem in the future.

*Flashback ends*

Arjun's face had a peaceful smile and he allowed his mind to freely wander. His mind started remembering all his memories with her.

*Flashback*

Arjun had asked Riya to print some files regarding a case. Riya had accidentally printed the wrong file that had Arjun's wife's murder case. When Arjun saw the file, his anger knew no limits. He just started yelling at her to stay away from his personal life and him. Without waiting for her reply, he just left.

Riya was crying and her tears showed her hurt. Arjun didn't know why her tears affected him. He couldn't describe the connection he felt between them.

Riya tried apologizing several times after that, but Arjun simply avoided. He didn't want to say something he might regret again. When Riya asked Rathod for leave, Arjun saw an underlying pain in her eyes. But he didn't ask her because he was still angry with her.

In Kalkee Devi's case, Arjun didn't come with the team. Shree, Chotu and Riya were having fun when Arjun walked in all dressed up. Arjun was enchanted to see Riya looking so gorgeous and just stood there seeing her and Shree having fun. When Riya's gaze fell on him, she froze. Arjun looked handsome. Their eyes met and stayed that way for a long time. Both were lost in each other.

Arjun came out of their staring competition first and walked towards Shree and Riya. Just as he was about to inquire about the case, some lady assumed him to be Riya's husband. Roshni's face flashed in front of his eyes and he looked at Riya in anger. Arjun again insulted Riya and left with Shree. Riya just silently accepted the hurt and cried. Arjun hated himself for hurting her so much but held himself back. However, when the whole team heard Riya talking to someone and that person trying to force Riya, Arjun had a death look in his eyes. How dare someone try to hit on my Riya...wait my Riya? Yeh tujhe kya ho raha hai Arjun... He marched towards the room only to see Riya beating up that man. To say Arjun was impressed would be an understatement. He was a little jealous at how all the men in the engagement party were looking at her but he was convinced that she can handle them.

The day Riya got shot, Arjun was mad at himself for putting her in danger. After that incident, Arjun always worried for Riya but never voiced his concerns. He blamed his carelessness for this and even told Riya to return back to the research desk. He knew how much it will hurt Riya but he thought that what he was doing was for her welfare.

In the Ganpati idol theft case, Riya had unknowingly saved Arjun's life by placing the coin in his pocket. That day Arjun was sure that there was some connection between them. It was as if they had known each other forever and they were meant to be each other's body guards.

In the superstar Riaz Khan murder case, Arjun taunted Riya saying that she doesn't know what love is and how deep it can run. But he didn't realize that Riya had already fallen deeply in love with someone...to be more specific...with him.

But Arjun was still not ready to accept that even Riya managed to penetrate the walls he had so securely build around his heart. He tried to stay away from her without realizing how much his ignorance and taunts are hurting the girl who brightened up his day by just her presence.

When the murdering witch case came to them, ETF went to the palace at 12am to investigate. Arjun was checking the place when he heard Riya's scream. His heart stopped beating for a second. All possibilities that maybe the witch was real and she had hurt Riya scared him to death. He ran like never before to ensure that Riya was safe.

Every time Riya got hurt, Arjun would punish himself twice that amount. Nobody knew that behind closed doors of his room, Arjun would hurt himself for the smallest things he did like dimming Riya's smile by a millimeter. And if he ever dared to bring tears in her eyes, he would punish himself worse than a criminal. His back was covered in whip marks and his hands were bandaged every other day. He knew he fell for Riya and this love was deeper than any existing emotion. This wasn't what he felt for Roshni. No...this is much more than what I felt with even HER. Riya became his world; a world he can never be a part of. He started withdrawing more from her in fear that he is an ill-fated man. Anyone who comes near him will meet their demise. And he couldn't do that to his Riya.

Zamane se nahi hum tanhai se darte hain,
Pyaar se nahin hum ruswai se darte hain,
Milne ki arzoo bahut hoti hai dil mein,
Hum milne ke baad ki judayi se darte hain.

And that was when his mind took him to the EXORA 2 case.

*Flashback ends*

Arjun was lost in his thoughts that he didn't realize his grip on the pen tightening. The pen in his hand broke into pieces, some of them were buried in his skin, not that he cared. This pain was nothing compared to one his heart withheld.

In Conference Room

Everyone was shocked to see Arjun's reaction to EXORA 2 case. They were all curious to know what exactly happened. Kirti had gone back to her cabin fuming and was researching about this case. Sakshi was the first one to speak.

"Guys abhi abhi kya hua? Arjun ne iss tarah react kyun kiya?"

Shree and Chotu just froze. Liza noticed this and asked that what's wrong to which they said shook their heads. Then Ayesha started talking.

"Chotu at least tum toh batao sab ne aisa react kyun kiya please. Tumhe tumhari 11:30 waali ki kasam."

Now Chotu was in a fix and looked at Shree. Shree just sighed and started, "Guys main batata hoon but please iske baare mein Rathore sir aur Arjun sir se kuch mat kehna. Everyone just nodded their heads. "Riya Mukherjee humari first lady officer thi. She was a research specialist and meri best friend. Wo, main aur Chotu bahut close ho gaye the. Rathod sir ke liye toh wo ek choti behen jaisi thi. Rathod sir toh off-duty uski har khwaish ko poora karte the. Aur Arjun sir se bhi uski equation bahut achhi thi. Wo ek lauti insaan thi jise Arjun sir se darr nahi lagta tha. She was the only one who understood us without us saying anything. Uski smile dekh ke hum saare dukh bhool jaate the. Aur uske haath ki coffee...Aur wo hum sabse bhi bahut zyada brave thi. Tum logon ne uss bacteria EXORA 2 ke baare mein suna tha na? Uss Rajat ne Riya ko gunpoint pe rakh kar use chodne ko kaha. Dhamki di ke agar use kuch bhi hua toh wo paani mein virus mila dega. Wo ladki bhi bilkul pagal thi. Usne apni parvah kiye bina poore desh ko bachane ke liye uss virus ki ball ko kha liya tha."

Everyone had tears in their eyes. They all had heard about that case and knowing that a girl from ETF saved them brought proud smile on their faces. Even Sameer and Arjun had come out of their cabin when Shree started talking and they were just listening to this silently. By now Shree had pulled up a photo of Riya and all girls were shocked to see such a beautiful girl doing something so dangerous. Suddenly, Sakshi realized something.

"Thi matlab...kya uss bacteria ki wajah se uski jaan..." but before she could complete Chotu interrupted, "Nahi nahi uss bacteria ko khaane ke baad wo ek mahine ke liye comma mein chali gayi thi but woh bach gayi."

The girls sighed in relief but still looked confused. Liza asked, "Toh fir thi kyun?"

Nobody said a work. Arjun had tears in his eyes remembering something. It was Rathod who spoke.

"Kyunki Don Alpha ki gang ke encounter mein uski jaan chali gayi."

I think riya zinda h I mean life support system PE ye baat Arjun k alawa koi nhi janata coz Sameer bola na k uss case me jaanane gawa di... Hmmm... Ya phr Arjun ne jaan bujhkar riya k zinda hone ki khabar chupayi ho sab see???
