Few Thoughts On YHM

I don't know why I am even writing this but after reading today's WU, I am feeling I have never come across any show as regressive as YHM.

What the hell this show has become??? 😲 😲 😲

I have never been a fan of Raman's character. But there was one thing which I liked about him & that was - he had some morality. He was a person who would beat the crap out of his own brother for ditching an unknown girl, who had supported those who were right.

Now this character has been literally reduced to a piece of shit. Is a baby a toy that he is gonna gift it to his mommy dearest? Does he have one ounce of shame that he is trying to convince his DIL for his so called heir?

Ishita - I am not even sure what should I say about her. The love she had for Ruhi was beyond everything. With time that love, that selflessness - everything has vanished.

I was an ardent fan of BHOOTU S1 on Zee TV. I'll always remember one particular dialogue of the FL of that show. When she parted away from the kid she told her that she would never be able to love someone as much as she loved the kid because she was her child irrespective of not giving her birth.

Ruhi & Ishita's relation was supposed to be such. A bond that would be shared only by the two of them & not anyone else. But now be it Roshni or the MIGHTY IRON KID/CHOTA ADI anyone can call her by this name & she would run behind them leaving her own kids.

I wouldn't even count Aliya or Pihu. But where is her love for Ruhi???? Can anyone tell me?????

Roshni is another NAMUNA. I wish to open her head & see if she has anything called a BRAIN. One moment she loved Adi, next moment she was ready to marry Shantanu. Yesterday she was ready to handover her golden goose, today she didn't want to lie & then again within seconds she agreed to lie. What the hell this girl want???? Does she herself know that????

I would rejoice if someday it is revealed that the baby isn't Adi's. I want to see the look on Raman's face. But before that, I want Raman to transfer everything to this baby's name. That would have been wonderful.

Wish CV's could have thought more deeper then they would have understood that Raman has gone through this pain himself, so he is the best person to understand Aaliyah's pain. He himself wasn't able to see his own bloods face for 5 years as he saw his cheating wife's face in her face and had shunned Ruhi when he doubted Ruhi to be Ashoks daughter.

Ishita has also been a witness to this pain of his , as well as gone through the same pain when she felt Raman and Shagun had an affair and Shagun was carrying the illegitimate child of Raman. She was ready to leave her house .

Then how come both of them wants Aaliyah to accept the kid which is truly Roshini's and Adi's. Why are they unable to understand her pain ?

Aaliyah - She was an independent girl with modern thoughts then what happened to her now. Why are Cv's so scared of giving a proper confrontation scene between her and IshRa and Bhalla family. Even last time when her parents were neglected , they made it mocking by making her drink . What is this family happiness thing and disrespecting her own parents who are fighting for her rights. She can allow Bhallas to do what they want to do but after she walks out from there.

Ishita - the less said the better it is. Just how you never liked Raman's character , I never liked Ishitas character. She has done too many mistakes . Earlier what I liked about this character was she always fought like a lioness for her kids and as she considers Aaliyah as her daughter - the way she ignored her during the most crucial moment and is now fighting for Roshini's rights which indirectly means Aaliyah's rights being stripped in the name of humanity has raised many questions on her.

The way she is ranting about real blood connection between mother and child and is sticking to Roshini and ignoring Aaliyah in the name of baby also questions her choices in life as she is step mother and a barren woman herself.

She had always neglected Pihu, but is now neglecting Ruhi also. She gives the right to call her - " Ishima" to every Tom, Dick and Harry,hence making the name lose its worth.

She allows everybody to insult her husband when he tries to speak to her.

Her recent attitude also in the name of Adi has raised questions on whether she loved Adi also or not as we can't sense even an ounce of guilt or pain of losing her son forever ,now that she talks about him.

The last person Rossini : this person who is playing it first doesn't know acting. Secondly all her moves look very calculated. It would be better if CV's would make her negative and present it to the us rather than trying to portray her as Devi and push her in the throats of audience.

It's high time CV's bring in this twist as this would only make audience bear Roahini on screen.

Apt comment Abhilasha 👏 But I think it's way too much to expect something from CVS because they are the ones who have completely destroyed the story in name of their PROGRESSIVE THOUGHT. 🤢

It's true that as audiences, we want our favorite show to run for a long time. But I have come to realize that when they stretch it like rubber, eventually it looses its essence.

I am not only meaning Hindi serials. A number of my favorite American shows are also included in this list. Where they kept on renewing seasons but made it so complicated that at some point I lost my clue that what I started watching in the first place.

The way YHM began, there were a lot of angles which could have been explored gradually & I believe even then they could run the show for years. Human mind is like a maze. One can't definitely just introduce a leap & show he/she has moved on.

The worst of the points is the inconsistency in the characters.

As you have said, Raman of all people should have understood Aliya's pain. But he had gone to tell her to sacrifice. The question Aliya raised was perfect - what would he do if Ruhi was in her place? And he didn't have an answer & later we didn't see any conversation of these two. Because, a person with least maturity should understand what BAKWAS he is asking of Aliya. And the fact that they want an heir! Who gives them the assurance that the kid would be good or that he will live long & make them proud? As a matter of fact, Adi died before reaching 30. Romi had an accident & became impotent. Sorry for using the term. So why so much emphasize on a male heir? If it's a girl for argument's sake, would Mrs. Bhalla express her desire to Raman & he would donate his sperm to another surrogate mother to produce an heir. I wouldn't be surprised if they do so.

Ishita's inconsistent love for her kids specially Ruhi makes one confused of her real agenda.

I would have no problem with her supporting others' kids as long as she was dutiful towards the one who made her mother in the first place. But definitely that isn't happening.

In the show KRISHNADASI the crux of the story was the exchange of the kids when they were born. But one dialogue of the mother was - for 22 years I have considered her as a piece of my heart & raised her. a revelation doesn't change that. She'll always be my daughter. Even the daughter had a dialogue with the ML that - I know as much as happy she is to get you, she is equally sad to lose me. When I am not there, please take care of my mom.

These two dialogues showed that the mother-daughter duo was inseparable & none of them glorified the importance of blood.

For Ishita, Ruhi should have been the most important person. But once she got her custody, she was more interested in Pihu & with Raman staged a drama of separation. Never thought about how it would affect her specially when most of her life she has been held captive by Nidhi. Knowing Nikhil's true intention, she opt to go to jail leaving all of her kids defenseless. And now Roshni. If she suffers from a miscarriage & another girl pops up saying she is carrying Adi's child, I don't think Ishita would hesitate to leave Roshni behind.

Ishita has neglected Aliya literally since she came to India. She has always been a consolation prize so I am not surprised with her behavior towards her.

YHM is no longer the story of a woman who found motherhood in the company of a little couple.

It's rather the story of a dysfunctional couple whose soul aim in life is to win custody cases & then throw the kids in one corner of the house. Then they could die, become MITRAMAA or whatsoever, these two wouldn't give a shit if another custody case has to be won.
