When will the trend of remaking old songs end?

I know remaking has always been around, but nowadays it's very frequent, it seems like most have at least one. I'm personally not a fan of this. I rather they make new songs instead of remakes. What do u think?

They have destroyed two of my most favourite ones. Dilbar and Ek do tin.
Both were iconic and totally destroyed now 😡
