since we all are pissed at sanjay getting whitewashed ..suggest who deserves a biopic

Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

Lal Bahadur Shastri (Sadly, we are forgetting him, to such an extent, that 02nd Oct is celebrated as only Gandhi Jayanti)

Baba Amte (we have marathi biography, a hindi wud be inspiring to lot more people)

Sindhutai Sapkal (her story is also inspiring and should reach more people)

Dilip Kumar (A fruit seller by the roadside whose life revolved around trying to earn enough money to sustain himself. )

Homi Bhabha: The life and death of Homi Bhabha, the father of Indian nuclear physics, is as interesting as it gets. From his role in the Quantam Theory, return from England, political battle to open up a Nuclear research plant in India, ideology on Atomic bombs to his mysterious death. A plane crash of which no debris was found. A CIA agent claiming the US agency did it. Mystery, Conspiracy & lots of Drama.

Aamir would be Apt.

Yuvraj Singh: If Dhoni deserves a biopic, then Yuvi's life is so much more colorful and inspiring. His fight with cancer while leading India to its second World Cup are what inspirational sports films are made of. Also tons of colorful characters like random Bollywood actresses, partying and scandals, his father makes for a Blockbuster.

Hrithik would be perfect.

Others

Divya Bharti: Sudden rise to prominence and her sudden "mysterious" death left a lot of questions unanswered. Who else but Alia?

Arunima Sinha: A national level Volleyball player who lost both her legs in an accident. Instead of giving up, became the first Amputee to conquer Mount Everest. PC?

I don't have any choices. But I do like movies like Padman which showcase common folks who make a difference in their own small way.

As for biopics, if SRK's is ever made, I want Ranveer to play SRK. He's the only one who has the same infectious energy that SRK has.

Down south, just watched Mahanati yesterday. I vaguely remember hearing Savitri's name when I was young, didn't know much about her though. The movie therefore was a pleasant surprise. Have never seen Gemini Ganesan's work, so have no clue how Dulquer measured upto him in terms of performance. As for Gemini itself, though I don't know anything about him other than him being Rekha's dad, why do I get the feeling that his role too was whitewashed? 😆

Sam Bahadur aka Sam Manekshaw. Meghna was talking about Sam sa'ab during one of Raazi promotion IVs I hope she makes it. And whoever gets to play the character should be indebted to Meghna for life.
