"Sometimes it takes a good fall to really know where you stand" -Haley Williams
And the same thing was a must for Nandini to finally stand up... Finally stand up against the person who was making her feel so little of herself! The one who both mentally and physically drained her to the level that she even forgot that she is a human being... for such a long time! Being too much optimistic, she always stayed hopeful... hopeful that deep inside her husband there was love for her... hope that someday her husband may change a bit! Yes, he was a bit hot headed and a bit physical too! But too her still, he was the husband...
But that night... it became too much! Nandini might have never imagined in her worst nightmare that his husband will sell him! How can she, no matter what, her husband enjoys being with her! A husband CANNOT STOOP TO SUCH LEVEL! But alas! Even after knowing him for 7 years n living with him for 6 years, she couldn't understand what kind of leech he was! Too Nave to understand a twisted human being like Rajdeep! She came to Rajdeep ... she told him how low the other man was, only to know the worst fact of her life until now... he was the one who sold her to THAT PERVERT OLD MAN! Verbally abused by her hubby, for the first time maybe she at least started "aapne aisa soch kaise liya k main iss baat k liye raazi ho jaungi!! Nave Nandini... And drowned in her emotions, she accidentally broke the news that made her husband even more furious! Being the man of no ethics... no feelings... or absolutely no humanity... Rajdeep made sure that the little soul inside Nandini dies and for some extent, so that also Nandini dies! And again maybe it was the optimistic soul inside Nandini that kept her alive until, the help she called, arrives... the hope that even gave her the courage to go through the immense pain n still wish for the life growing inside her! The way Nandini reached for the phone... the way she called her Mouli... the way she gave all possible information of her situation n position, with the voice which was trying it's best to stay inside her throat and not come out of her mouth... everything showed how desperate she was... to save her baby... and when finally seeing her Mouli, she might have felt like I HAVE MET MY ANGEL.. SHE WILL MAKE EVERYTHING OK!! But sometimes life doesn't give a second chance the little life inside her ... lost the battle! And this was the FALL she needed... so much... she realized it was her battle... she had to save it... but she couldn't ... no doubt her Mouli was there, her presence was there to make her feel that she was not alone ... that even if she is thrown out of Rajdeep's house, she won't be left to live without a roof over her head... and these two... the HARD FALL and SINGLE HELPING HAND was all she needed, to stand up... so she stood up... finally... With a lot of fear... insecurity... but with much more courage and hope than we can even think... she decided to leave him...
I am very happy that the makers didn't show her a changing into a tigress from a terrorized kitten all of a sudden... and I hope they will do it in a realistic way! All the actors were just fabulous as their respective charecters! But the way Abhinav Shukla showed another degree of being the shallowest human being possible and the way Drashti showed the agony, terror, plea, hope, pain with such little dialogues and a lot of silent expressions proves that as an actor, they are a class apart! Digesting such scene of immense physical violence was immensely hard, but somehow, the way it was scripted, directed and executed, didn't let me even imagine that I should not watch... I became silent.. I was speechless... but Nandini stoop up...
