Part 10
Ishita went to kitchen to divert her mind from Raman and started helping her . Amma saw ishita and spoke " arey ishu what are you doing here kanna ,you go and rest ,you know na its your last month and your due date is coming closer . "
I- haan amma ,I know but I was getting bore,you know baithe baithe bahut saare faltu khyaal mann mein aatein rahtein hain ,that's why I came here . Not much heavy but I can do small things . give me veggies I will chop them ,tell some more small works ."
A- ok as you say kanna .
Saying so she passed the vegetable to ishita ,she settled in the dinning table and started chopping them . On the other hand Raman completed his ongoing meeting and went to his cabin ,he settled in his seat and thought to give himself a break for sometimes then open the next file . Thinking so he ordered a coffee for himself and started playing with his phone when its gallery got open ,showing his and ishita's pic from last night dinner date . He smiled looking to the pic and recalled all the moments they had spend together that's when he recalled about the happenings of morning and then him giving his choice for a girl like ishita . He thought for sometimes and then spoke to himself ,there are so many beautiful and nice girls around me ,in our building ,in my office ,my clients but I opted for ishita only . why do I want a partner like her ,kyun Maine uska hi naam liya . Did I actually want a partner like her or her only . "
He closed his eyes and tried to divert his mind ,and think about some other girl but his mind was again and again going to ishita only .He thought for some more times and then pulled his hair in frustration as every time he could only think of her ,that's when he recalled that he hadn't talked to ishita from morning . She,actually her baby was unwell last night and but he didn't talked to her for once . Non except him knew that about her health and he ignored such big think ,what if she still have some problem with her but she cannot share it with her mother as she is unaware of the happenings of last night ,moreover he should inform ishita that his mother has started searching girl for him .
Thinking so he called ishita ,she was in kitchen and couldn't pick his call making him tensed ,he called again but again she didn't picked it .He got worried and thought to call amma ,as amma too was in kitchen with ishita she too didn't answered his call adding to his tension more ,he then called her father but he was out of house ,so Raman didn't asked anything to him thinking about his health too . Finally when he don't get any news of ishita ,he called his house to know about iyers . Toshiji pick his call and asked" haan Raman puttar bol ".
Raman didn't answered her and asked immediately " Ma ishita to theek hai na".
Toshiji got confused and asked " why are you asking this , I mean you didn't talked to me and all of a sudden calling me and asking about ishita ".
R- ma I called ishita to give my marriage news but no body is picking my call . that's why I called you ,she is alright na .
T- she is ok ,I had went to iyers to talk about marriage , ishita bilkul theek hai ,tu ruk main dekhti hoon ,why they are not picking the call .
R- haan please ma ,check kar lein.
Saying so he hung the call while toshiji went to iyer house and pressed the call bell ,amma went to open the door and asked " arey santoshi aao na ,what happened ".
T- why you people are not picking the call .
A- call ?
Saying so amma checked her phone and spoke " ohh sorry ,actually we were in kitchen ,so didn't reply ,sorry but why you were calling ".
T- not me but Raman was calling ,ishita he is so much worried about you when you people didn't replied .
I- ohh sorry aunty ,I will just talk to him .
Saying so she went to her room ,to see her phone . She saw two three missed call of Raman and called him quickly , as he was holding phone in his hands only ,he picked the call soon and asked " hey ishita you are all right na ".
I- haan ,what happened ,why are you so worried .
R- you scared me man ,why didn't you picked my call ,I was so scared ,thought you were again taken to hospital .
Ishita smiled noticing his concern for her and spoke " I m ok ,was just with amma and my phone was in room , that's why I couldn't pick it ,so sorry ".
R- sorry kya ,mujhe laga ...
I- bola na sorry ,waise congrates .
R- for what .
I- aunty ji informed us that your are getting married .
R- not getting married but has agreed for marriage ,both the things are different .I told ma to start seeing girls for me .
I(with bit low voice)!- that's nice thing.
R- ishita you are happy na ?
I- haan why don't I be happy . waise bhi we are friends ,tu aap khus to main bhi khus.
R- haan ,but you know what ,I m having a very different type of feeling from inside .
I- abhi se ,you just agreed for marriage and started feeling goosebumps ,abhi to you will meet girls ,choose one of them ,then will go to date with her ...
R(interrupting in mid )- ohh madam , hold your horses ,you are going too far. bas shaadi hai mujhe ,date shate pe nahi jaana .aren't you having a long list .
I- no ,people do these only ..
R- achcha aisa kya,okay you know I m very new to all this ,you teach me all this .
I- humm ,this will be ok .
Like this they were talking ,when Raman's PA informed that he has been called for meeting . He nodded and went bidding bye to her . Ishita too hung the call and spoke to herself " he is happy and excited with his marriage news , I think I should stop myself thinking about him ."
Thinking so she went out and infirmed toshiji that they had talked ,she talked some more and went from there . On the other hand though Raman was in meeting but ,the thought that she is happy with his marriage made him restless . He was physically present in the meeting but mentally ,he was stuck on ishita . Finally when he adjourned the meeting as he couldn't concentrate in meeting . He was getting mad on everyone but don't know the exact reason of it . Finally he thought to go back to home ,he picked his phone as per his habit to ask ,if ishita wants anything special ,he has dialed her number but stopped thinking " why he is going to call ishita when I want to avoid her " .
Thinking so he hung the call and thought to return late home ,so that he don't have to go for walk with her . On the other hand ishita too thought that she should avoid him ,thinking so she thought to that she will not go to with him for walk making a excuse that she is unwell . She just had decided that's when her phone rang ,flashing his number ,she picked the call and he told her to go in walk with sweety of appa ,while she too denied saying she is bit unwell . He got concerned about her health and asked " what happened ".
I- nothing much just having bit stomachache .
R- had to consulted your doctor .
I- that's not needed you do your work .
Saying so she cut the call but still after talking non of them were in peace ,one side Raman became worried about ishita's health but couldn't visit her and on other side she was guilty for telling lie to him and making him worry about her .
