Its quite refreshing to have a proper investigative thriller on IndianTV screen again. The first episode deals with cyber stalking and given the new format , this story might continue for a week. A young girl is harassed by a ingenious stalker and as Dev correctly said, he is hiding his tracks. The episode seems not so much a continuation of S1 but a new set up with some new characters. Narvekar is still peeved off with baby sitting Dev and hopefully Dev and Mehek track will be kept to a minimum.
I might be one of the few viewers who is actually not missing Meera and Devs new intern is a bit too chirpy for my taste. I am not sure if she is meant to provide comic relief but that is what if felt like to me.Dev is first and foremost an investigative drama and hope the makers just stick to that. If this is a homage to Holmes and Watson , then I hope young Watson is given the chance to be a serious investigator rather than just being Dev's fan and follower.
