Exclusive! Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar to come together for a period

Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar have finally
joined hands for Rohit Shetty's Simmba and
the excitement amongst fans is quiet
palpable. Simmba also marks the debut of
Sara Ali Khan who will be seen romancing
Singh in the film. Impressively, the actor
already has some really interesting lineup of
films including Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, the
upcoming Kapil Dev biopic '83 amongst
others. Well, since it's the first time that
Ranveer has teamed up with Karan Johar
for a film and Simmba's great pre-buzz,
there are rumours about Ranveer doing
another film with the ace director.
A source close to the actor informed
Filmfare that Ranveer might do yet another
period film.. It's said that the period drama
will star Singh playing the lead and mark his
second collaboration with Karan Johar's
Dharma Productions. The source informed,
"Karan has been thinking of making a
period film for quite sometime now and
seeing Ranveer's performance in his
previous period dramas has left him
impressed. Karan and Ranveer have spoken
about the project and may announce the
same soon.
Woah! It would be interesting to see KJo
making a period drama, that too with
Ranveer in it. Watch out this space for more.
