Anjali was clingy & being absolutely ridiculous because she always wanted to remain 1st priority in Arnav's life. Arnav was convincing her that he married Khushi for her. Dumb anjali didn't understand why would he marry Khushi for her unless what snake was accused was true. She overlooked that and accepted that she was important but not shyam was guilty. She herself had seen him falling for Khushi. Arnav had been in love and was going to confess to Khushi.He married her because he loved her and wanted her to be with him.

Arnav wouldn't marry anyone just because shyam was involved with a woman. Yeah Arnav lied that he fell in love for Khushi after marriage.

Lol Arnav agreed to La too when she asked tum mujhse pyaar to toh karte ho na when he came to take her to RM.

So don't take his pyaar word seriously. For him LOVE word matters.

Btw Arnav always put her 1st but she however didnt reciprocate the same if she put Arnav 1st she should have been happy seeing him happy after so long.

But nope she always put her husband 1st.

Her behaviour wasn't appropriate as an elder sister after everything Arnav did for her & what he had been through. Anjali was the most confused delusional character in the show.

I think Arnav loved khushi way before the hate marriage .. initially he tried to resist the attraction by using rude words and being rude with khushi .. he tried to convince himself she didn't matter but she did ... some clarity cane around that havan day when he thought he lost her ..he reacted in a way any lover would ...& he accepted that khushi meant more than what he wanted to assume and he also realized his heart beats for her... now seeing khushi in Shyam's arms broke him but he still married her and tied her to him when he could have done anything else to keep her away from his family ... so his love for her may have been covered by distrust ... but I feel Arnav loved khushi way more and deep than khushi in fact ... but his love and respect and care for his sister was way above and beyond any feeling he felt for khushi or anyone .. thx to Anjali s clingy nature... he never really expressed all the love he felt for khushi I felt. His sister managed to occupy first spot in his priority list always. After kidnapping , he openly showed he wanted khushi by his side always and he also declared he loved her to his sister and khushi .
For some reason , Anjali is shown as this motherly figure to him . When all she did was cling on to him and never let him breath and live his own life..she was happy as long as she was pampered and mollycoddled by her brother and family ... which happened all the time.. most of the time she was just stubborn and selfish ,. . I was always mad how Anjali was considered this sad victim out of the situation and not khushi . In fact khushi was the one who suffered the most thx to the hate marriage and shyam's Never ending advances and name calling ..
anyways , I felt that Arnav realized and revolted his attraction during the calendar shoot , felt attracted and acted on it during Diwali, felt more than attraction and care and intense feelings during the engagement farak padtha hain times...fell in love around havan... felt cheated and buried his love during hate marriage , fell irrevocably in love during kidnapping phase... but he did bend the truth to his fragile sister at that time...
