Because punjabi music is awesome!
Almost all the top Chartbusters of the year are Punjabi from Bom Diggy to Dil Chori to sanu ik pal chain to the recent tareefan. So was last year with Suit Suit, Kala Chashma, Dil Diyaan Gallan etc. So was the year before. Maybe it's pollution for you, but lots of people love it, enjoy it. Doubt your Kangana would be a queen without London Thumakda either. When people start enjoying Bengali music, you can have that. CIAO!
