Saqib Saleem to play the villain opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg 3?

The Dabangg franchise has been extremely successful for Salman Khan and everyone attached to the films as well. Part one and two, both left their mark at the box-office and that's the reason the third part of the film is creating so much buzz already. That's no news that Salman will be essaying the much-loved character of Chulbul Panday in the third part of the Dabangg franchise. But, the rumours around who will play the negative lead in the film are creating a stir in the industry. After Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj played the villains in the first and second part respectively, this time around Saqib Saleem's name is being considered.

Apparently, Salman Khan got impressed with Saqib's talent and commitment during the filming of Race 3. And now, Bollywood's Bhaijaan has decided to take Saqib under his wings. Rumours suggest that Arbaaz was looking for a new face for a negative lead and that's when Salman suggested Saqib's name. If there is any truth to the rumour or not, only time will tell.

Why didn't they take Kajol as main villain as rumoured earlier??

That would have been interesting, and much better.

Saqib is a good actor but he doesn't seem to be fit for larger than life roles, just like Freddy Daruwala who despite an impressive role in Holiday, flattered in Force2.

Behen Kajol ko maaf karo. Dabangg 3 looks like Race 3-part deux and Kajol needs to stay away. She is going to do Lady Singham so she doesn't need another cop movie.
