That's a weird question coming from an Aamir fan who also released his movies during the holidays. So you don't think Aamir's movies would be successful if he released them on any other day? Aamir had Secret Superstar that didn't fare too well domestically despite positive reviews but I have no doubt that Thugs of Hindustan will bring in a lot of money and do great at the box office. Salman bounced back with TZH after Tube light and I'm sure he'll bounce back after Bharat.

These guys get to release solo movies on holidays because nobody wants to clash with them. Of course that kind of advantage won't last forever for these aging men.

Either way, Salman still seems to have some starpower to bring in the kind of money he did for a movie that's panned by critics and many moviegoers as well. If he keeps it up, people will lose faith in him but I think he still will have some good movies coming up.
