Part 16 epilogue

Sleep far for Khushi as she reflected on the past 2 years of her life, how she married Ranveer only to lose him 3 months later when creepy Arnav (who was later shot in an encounter later that night) escaped jail and failed the brakes of Ranveer's car, losing Ranveer to death shortly after their car accident after returning from a family friend's wedding and slowly overcoming her grief after being widowed and having enormous support from Arnav.

The past 2 years of her life had been emotionally exhausting, however the past 6 months had been bliss. She remembered how Arnav came to to Delhi after finding out about Ranveer's death and became a solid shoulder to cry on. After Khushi married Ranveer, Arnav decided to forever stay away from Khushi's life in order to never cause her pain and was content of being her friend. He left 3 weeks later to look after his office in London, leaving the Delhi AR branch under Akash's charge.

Once Arnav returned from London, he felt that he needed to be there more for Khushi and break down the wall she built around herself. She couldn't help but feel guilty that Ranveer died because of a madman lusting after her. She had even once tried to commit suicide, but was caught in the act by Arnav who made her promise that she would never do anything as such and to start living her life fully as she always did, which she did and starting living her life as she always did.

The whole family noticed how both were becoming closer day by day, but felt that it be better for Arnav and Khushi to realise their feelings without anyone's interference. As days went by, Khushi started to realise how much she never stopped loving Arnav. She felt like the lost her life when she was told that Arnav was involved in a car accident caused while trying to avoid an oncoming truck. She realised that if she never told Arnav how she felt, she may never be able to. Once seeing he was okay, as she was about to tell Arnav her feelings when Arnav said "I love you too Khushi. Khushi felt fortunate to have found a man who understood her unsaid thoughts and feelings. After confessing their love for one another, they told their families about their relationship.

Everyone could not contain their happiness and left the two love birds to decide on how they would like their relationship to go. There would be no pressure on marriage on either side of the family. Arnav and Khushi took time to see where their relationship go and in no time, both felt they were ready to settle down. Arnav proposed to Khushi on a quiet romantic dinner and in no time they were married. Although everyone wanted to go all out for their Arnav and Khushi's wedding, the bride herself wanted a quiet wedding after all the mishap that occurred in the past year and this was something everyone understood, so they planned the wedding and made it memorable for everyone.

Eventually Khushi fell asleep to wake to new day. If there was anything she could change, it would have been to avoid Ranveer's death or to marry him, otherwise there wasn't anything that she would have changed for the world.

Psst: I have started working on a second part, however it won't be based on Arshi, but on different characters. Posting the summary of the story so keep an eye out for more updates, as I have already started to work on this story.

"Sort of Continuation from Moving on from heartbreak

After all problemos with Khushi's marriage and creepy Arnav out of the picture, the whole family is looking at some old family photos. Khushi comes across an old picture of Arnav, Akash, Anjali and NK from around 8 years back (date was shown at the bottom of the page). Along with the foursome, Khushi sees another young girl with them in the photo and is curious to know who she is. Upon asking who this girl is, Manorama sees the picture and quickly tears the girls photo and says that she is no one to them. This leaves Khushi and Payal wondering who is this girl and what happened that resulted in Mami tearing up her photo.
