Being a new show 1.1 is not at all a bad or even average TRP infact it's a good one specially when other established shows of the same channel are having 1.4, 1.6, 0.5 trps
Everyone should keep the fact in mind that Silsila is NOT like other shows of colors... It deals with a very mature/adult topic and no matter how much you love the presentation you can't watch this show with family during dinner...

Kunal-Mauli scenes are way too bold to watch it on TV with your parents or siblings

Still the TRP is 1.1 👏

So there is no point of getting upset over TRP just enjoy the journey of Kunal-Mauli-Nandini 😉

TRP is for first week so I think it has much more to do with promotion of the show than the plot itself, like first day of Khan movies do too good because of promotion and then everything depends upon the WOM...Bepanah was promoted for months then the first week of Bepanah had 45 minutes long episodes without break, hence it debuted at number 5 on BARC TRP... And the competition is strong in 10pm time slot with Ishq shubhanallah and Ishqbaaz...

Bepannah opened as a 'Suspense thriller' inspite of having adult issues like EMA/cheating which is not the case with Silsila... Bepannah opened grand but failed to continue that standard (No offense just a fact) but I feel Silsila will grow among the viewers with time... Promotions does matter a lot but when you have a strong storyline along with such popular faces like DD Shakti it covers the lack of promotion 😉 And I personally don't consider shows like Ishqbaaz a 'Competition' to Silsila
