Nidhi was moving through the corridor and thinking of an idea to ask for a leave the next day. She knew it was a difficult task to ask for leave in this hospital as the Dean didn't like his subordinates taking unplanned leaves. But she had no way out as her friend Pooja's wedding was fixed in a hurry ... She wanted to get married few months later but as there was a shortage of auspicious days for wedding for many months together...the family agreed to the marriage on a short notice. But now this had become a problem for Nidhi as she had to take leave for her wedding the next day. Pooja called her up and asked her "tujhe chhutti mil gayi ya nahi? to which she replied..arey wahin ja rahi hu...dekhti hu milti hai ya nahi. Pooja was disappointed to hear this and told her that she had to be present on her wedding anyhow and that too for the whole day. Nidhi told her that she is trying to get a leave for her wedding.

As she reached his office...she heard him scolding another intern on asking for a leave. Arey yeh kya ho gaya...yahan to pehle hi jwalamukhi fat raha hai...agar maine bhi chhutti maang li to main bhi usme jal jaaungi...aur waise bhi mujhse to yeh humesha hi naraz rehte hain...yeh Dean bhi na...ek number ke khadoos hain...ab main kya karu? she mumbled to herself. She stood there for some time waiting for a suitable time and a suitable idea to ask for the leave. The other intern left from there as she didn't get the leave...she told Nidhi how the Dean shouted on her because she wanted a leave to attend her cousin's wedding. Now Nidhi became very anxious and she decided to find some alternate way to attend Pooja's wedding.

She kept on thinking and after a lot of thought...she decided to take an emergency leave the next day on the pretext of being sick...as she knew no one would deny her the sick leave. There was no other way out and she had to take the help of a lie to fulfill her friend's wish. So not finding any other option she called up the senior doctor there in the hospital the next day and informed him that she was unwell and that she needed two days leave. He was upset as the hospital work would suffer but she was sick so she was granted the leaves. Nidhi was very happy as her plan worked and now she could attend and enjoy her friend's wedding.

She went to Pooja's house in the morning itself and was with her throughout the day...in the evening she went to the parlour along with her to get ready for the wedding...as expected she looked ethereal once she dressed up. Pooja's Mom complimented her on her looks and wished her good luck for her future...she also wished that she would soon get married and maybe her future life partner is not far away...maybe she soon finds her life partner. Nidhi blushed on hearing this but wondered who would be that one lucky person who has been made for her...and if really that person meets her soon...how would she know that he is that same person? She was lost in her thoughts of what her Mom just said to her when her other friends informed them about the arrival of the baraat.

She rushed along with everyone to have a look at the baraat...it always is a craze to see the groom before the bride...especially for the girls. Nidhi came back to her friend after seeing the groom and described how her groom was being welcomed by her entire family and all the rituals that were being carried out. She waited along with Pooja in her room while the others left to attend the groom's side. Soon Pooja was called outside by her Mom and Nidhi went along with her...as soon as they entered the marriage hall Nidhi was shocked to see Dr Ashutosh amongst the guests. She felt as if her heart skipped a few beats and the floor slipped beneath her feet.

She never expected him to be there and her lie to be caught so easily...now how to escape from this mess...she started thinking of ideas to avoid the catastrophe at that time...she knew if he saw her he'll make her life hell for many days to come. She tried to go away from Pooja but she didn't let her leave and asked her to be with her only ...she was very anxious while crossing the hall towards the stage and she tried to turn her face away from the side Dr Ashutosh was standing so as to avoid him seeing her...luckily he was busy on phone when she passed from there and he didn't see her...soon they went up the stage and while everyone was busy with the varmala ceremony...she slipped away from the stage and thought of explaining everything to Pooja later.

She kept on trying to avoid coming in front of him but all the members in Pooja's family needed her help in one thing or the other as she had been actively involved in the arrangements with them since morning. She was finding it difficult to save herself from this situation and once she almost came face to face with him while in the nick of time with God's grace, some other guest came upto him and took him away. She almost had an encounter with him but she escaped marginally. She even hid beneath a table once to avoid him but how many times would luck favour her in such a situation? Pooja's Mom asked her to get some items from her room that were needed for some rituals and while she was getting them...she bumped into someone and her things fell down. No points for guessing who that person was and she stood there right in front of her Dean. He was surprised to see her here but for few seconds he was awestruck as she was looking so very beautiful...so different from what he had seen in the hospital. But he managed to bring back his Dean's attitude back into him and he gave her his famous angry looks that he was known for and poor girl was cursing her stars to bring her in front of him.

She was looking here and there so that she could find someone for her help but what she got was..."Dr Nidhi aap yahan...aapki to tabiyat theek nahi thi na? he questioned her...Sir...Sir wo... Wo main... she had no answer this time...how could she tell him that she had lied to attend her friend's wedding. She noticed the changing expressions on his face which soon turned into a frown as he was getting irritated on not getting any answer. He again asked her strictly as he had understood by now that she had lied... she was about to say something when Pooja's Mom came searching for her ...she took her away from him ...she felt slightly relieved that moment but she very well knew this won't last for long and she would have to face his wrath sooner or later. Nidhi asked Pooja's Mom as to how he is there amongst the guests and she told her that he is from the groom's side... How is he related to them...even she didn't know clearly.

Nidhi was very tensed on being caught like this and she was roaming around anxiously but when she saw Pooja's happiness ...she forgot everything and decided to enjoy the wedding to the fullest and face the consequences later as they came to her. For Pooja's sake she started participating in all the rituals happily and she was there with Pooja all through...this time she wasn't scared of him and neither she tried to escape away from him... Rather she was her usual self who laughed and enjoyed each and every moment which was so special for her and her friend. Dr Ashutosh was noticing everything and was getting more and more furious as he felt cheated by her. He would make her pay for this...he thought while Nidhi was elated to be a part of every small moment in the wedding.
