Nidhi was enjoying every ritual and was also helping Pooja's Mom in her arrangements...she sent a message through a child with the keys that she wanted the envelopes and some cash from her room. Nidhi was having icecream that time and knowing that she needed them urgently...she instantly got up and went to collect them from her room. While she was returning she had icecream along with the envelopes in her hands...she was trying to hold everything properly but someone came in front of her suddenly and everything fell down...the icecream soiled the clothes of that person. Nidhi was shocked at the sudden turn of events and was about to apologize when she saw that the person whom she just encountered was none other than Dr Ashutosh.
Nidhi: oh I'm so sorry Sir...maine dekha nahi...wo itna sab tha mere haath mein...to ...
Ashutosh: aap koi kaam theek se kar sakti hain ya nahi... Pehle to aap jhooth bolkar chhutti leti hain...uske baad yahan yeh sab...ab dekhiye aapne sab kuchh gira diya...mere kapde kharab kar diye... aapko sab ko pareshan karne mein maza aata hai kya?
Nidhi: Sir maine jaan boojh kar kuchh nahi kiya...
Ashutosh: bas...mujhe koi bahana nahi sunna...jiske liye aap yeh sab lekar jaa rahi thi...unhe to kam se kam jaa kar yeh cheezein de do...warna unhe bhi pareshani hogi... Waise aapko kya fark padta hai...kuchh log hote hi hain sab ko pareshan karne ke liye...aap bhi unme se hi ek hain...
She picked up the envelopes along with the one having cash... she went away and handed them over to Pooja's Mom. She asked her why was she so sad...Nidhi didn't tell her anything and asked her to carry on with the rituals. After this she went to Dr Ashutosh and asked her to accompany her so that she could clean his coat. He was not interested in any help from her but she insisted on coming as his coat was soiled with ice cream and that needs cleaning. He went with her inside and she asked him to take it off...he did as he was told and handed it over to her. She took the coat to the bathroom and cleaned the stain with water...later she ironed it and gave the coat to him. He was slightly impressed with the way she nicely cleaned his coat but he didn't even say a word of thanks to her and went outside.
Later he noticed that Nidhi was helping the bride's family nicely and everyone was very happy with her...she gelled with all the guests very nicely and Pooja's parents were full of appreciation for her. Is his observation and opinion about Nidhi wrong? He thought. It was early to make any decision and he decided to observe her for some more time before he came to any conclusion. After having dinner it was now time for the pheras...most of the guests had left...even Ashutosh wanted to leave but he decided to stay when he realized that Nidhi was also staying till the end.
He wanted to make sure whether Nidhi actually was at fault in lying to him about her illness in order to attend her friend's wedding...the way she was involved in all the rituals...that definitely shows that Pooja's family really had a trust on her. He didn't want someone to be punished for something which they didn't do intentionally. He was sitting among the guests and observing her every moment...he was getting more and more involved in her...her smile was getting onto him and he couldn't notice anyone else there although there were so many people around.
After some time they heard some chaos...Ashutosh was brought out of his thoughts by that and he tried to figure out what was the matter that led to the chaos. He realized some time later that it was related to the car that was supposed to be given by Pooja's family to the groom. The groom's parents were unhappy with the small car that was given as they expected a bigger one. Pooja's parents were requesting them to accept that one as they had spent a lot already in the wedding but they weren't ready to relent. Both her parents were in tears as they were requesting the groom's side to carry on with the rituals and complete the wedding and Nidhi wasn't liking it at all.
After a lot of requests and talks when they didn't agree to accept that small car...Nidhi went up to the groom and spoke to him.
Nidhi: tum bade ajeeb insaan ho...tum to Pooja se pyaar karte ho na... yehi hai tumhara pyaar...kya tumhe Pooja se zyada ek badi car pyaari hai? Agar aisa hai to tumhe koi haq nahi hai yeh kehne ka ki tum usse pyaar karte ho...kyunki pyaar kabhi is tarah ki sharton par nahi kiya jaata... Tum kyun kuchh nahi bolte apne parents ko...tumhe achha lag raha hai yeh sab...
Groom: nahi mujhe bhi yeh sab achha nahi lag raha...lekin main kaise apne Mummy Papa ko sab ke saamne...
Nidhi: aur wo sab ke saamne tumhare pyaar ki aur uske parents ki insult kar sakte hain...wo theek hai?
Groom: nahi wo bhi theek nahi hai...
Nidhi: to jaao aur roko unhe... Pheron ka muhurat nikal jayega warna...jaldi karo aur apni Pooja ki aankhon ke aansuon ko muskaan mein badal do...jaao jaldi karo...
He went up to his parents and told them that he would marry Pooja only and that he has no problem with whatever they had gifted... its their wish and they should respect that. His parents were very angry with him and warned him that that they would cancel the wedding...he told them that he would marry Pooja only...its their wish whether they wanted to be with him in this precious moment of his life or not...but he would marry Pooja only. They had no option but to agree to this wedding and everything carried on smoothly after that. Ashutosh who was noticing everything was impressed with her and realized that she wasn't that bad as he thought.
After the wedding got over...he was about to leave when he saw her standing with Pooja's family who were seeing off the guests who came for the wedding. He came upto her and asked her to come aside...she went with him hesitantly and asked him what was the matter.
Ashutosh: main jaanta hu ki tumne yeh shaadi attend karne ke liye jhooth bola tha... Lekin mujhe lagta hai ki tumne achha hi kiya...agar tum nahi hoti to aaj bahut badi problem ho sakti thi...
Nidhi: Sir maine jhooth bola main maanti hu...lekin iske zimmedaar bhi aap hi hain...aap ne ek doosre intern ko kitna daanta tha kyunki wo apne cousin ki shaadi ke liye chhutti maang rahi thi...to main kya karti?
Ashutosh: is baar main aapko maaf karta hu lekin aage se dhyaan rakhna...mujhe jhooth bolna pasand nahi hai...
Nidhi: yes Sir...main khayal rakhungi...aur aapka coat kharab karne ke liye sorry... Maine jaan ke nahi kiya...
Ashutosh: its ok...ab aap jaiye ...main chalta hu...
He went back home and she was relieved...she went to Pooja's family and left after some time...while driving back home Ashutosh was thinking about whatever happened in the wedding...kya main sach mein itna bura hu...meri wajah se usne jhooth bola...mujhe agar doosron ka jhooth bolna pasand nahi hai to mujhe khud aisa atmosphere create karna chahiye ki sab mujhse sach bata sake...kya mujhe apne aap ko badalne ki zaroorat hai...lekin kaise? Kya main badal sakta hu? he thought. He imagined Nidhi in front of him and saying to him "haan Sir aap zaroor badal sakte hain...main aapki madad karungi. He instantly applied brakes and noticed that there was no one with him and that was just his imagination. He patted his head slightly and went home...he was thinking first time in his life as to why is he like this...why is everyone scared of him. He decided to find out answers to the questions crowding his mind and he would surely try and change himself.
