Priyanka Chopra apologises for portrayal of Indian as terrorist in American TV series Quantico

I'm extremely saddened and sorry that some sentiments have been hurt by a recent episode of Quantico. That was not and would never be my intention. I sincerely apologise. I'm a proud Indian and that will never change.

Priyanka Chopra also found support amid the brutal trolling. Many tweeted to her saying it was only a TV show and had no basis on reality. "Why are you apologising for a fictional plot?" Josephina Khattab tweeted. Another Twitter user, Devesh Baheti, wrote, "It's sad that an artist has to apologise for being an artist."

#Quantico has gone down from 6.5 to 5.7 on https://TV.com . And from 7.1 to 6.9 on IMDB. Serves @PriyankaChopra well. THAT's how you express your disapproval: By TAKING ACTION.

This is too much. Hypocrites. What about showing black people as criminals in Indian movies knowing the racism they face in India. Why act holier than thou when you are no less.

In the 2016 film Raman Raghav 2.0, the amoral cop played by Vicky Kaushal visits a Mumbai chawl to get his drugs from, you guessed it, black-skinned Africans. Earlier, Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey, Bejoy Nambiar's Shaitan and Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum also portrayed blacks as drug dealers. In Dum Maaro Dum, in fact, it is specified that the 'Nigerian cartel' is in control of a certain section of Goa

I feel so sad when because of some idiots ...Indians have to keep declaring their love for India...kya bana diya hai India ko...literally a joke...pehle ye moorkh Pakistan bhejenge...fir the affected Indian will tell about how much they love India...

Unfortunately, yes! They actually making a joke out of India its sooo sooo sad to see. Not only Indian but any country has these kind of peole put shame to their country. But have to admit India coming as very bad recently!

The coastal state has one of the most powerful drug cartels in the world, mostly controlled by Russians, Israelis and Nigerians. According to sources in the anti-narcotic cell, the Nigerians drug lords are growing in strength.

An anti-narcotic officer tells rediff.com that their main areas of operation in Goa are Calangute, Anjuna, Arambol and Morjim. Nigerians control the cocaine market in Goa, while the Russians and the Israelis deal with marijuana, charas and ecstasy.
