During the last few days , after Abhi-Pragya explosive party confrontation , I thought I'm going to be denied of my strong Pragya , that was the demand of the day after the leap.
But DAYUM ! My lioness roared finally 👏 ! And for a meek and sweet girl, when she's angry she looks formidable and every bit Professor Madam .
Needless to say , after watching the episode I couldn't help but running to make this post.
When I drew this Humsafar parallel , I was quite clear about the fact , that having uncondtional love doesn't take away from having self respect , as in , these two traits are not mutually exclusive . A lady can of course love a man to the moon and back , that too selflessly and unconditionally ( in fact true love is always selfless and unconditional , or it should be. ) but when it comes to standing up for your own dignity she must be very strong and unyielding and no force in the world should be able to shake her.
I'm happy to see that Pragya did exactly that . It's good for a starter . Phew ! 😃
Initially , she was more intent of getting rid of trash as soon as possible . Her attitude screamed that his mindless accusations are hurting him more than her and she doesn't want any of that , she stopped him when he started punching the wall behind with his wounded hand . That's just how she is as a person and that's what makes her unique and special- her empathy, her genuine good heart . That's why King couldn't adore her enough 🤗 ( he knows that even when she scolds him like he's a school boy , she only means his best interest and no body in the world right now cares more about his welfare than this friend of his. That's exactly why he never takes it to heart for long term. ) That's why despite our many complaints , we couldn't adore this lady enough. 😳
And that is exactly why Abhi is going through such a corrosive sense of loss. Too bad Mr. Mehra . You lost out on what could've been the best 7 years of your life and look at king , how she balances his impulsiveness and short temper and tantrums with her firm yet gentle guidance and guardian angle like protective care. One man's loss is another man's profit , indeed ! 😉
Coming to Pragya , she kept trying to avoid confrontation as long as she can , because what's the use now ?? None at all , she has made her own safe , secure , peaceful , meaningful and reasonaly very happy life with her hands full , co parenting her daughter with her friend and doing a full time job. She stil misses him but that's all. She doesn't want any of this back and forth mud slinging and weighing the errors . I'd say smart. Confrontation should always be the last resort with guys like Abhi , tactically taking out the trash is the best policy. 😛
But Abhi wouldn't leave , he wouldn't budge . He went on rambling crap after crap , basically showing how skilled he's in shifting-the-blame-game. But just when he thought he has succeeded , he'd got another thing. It gave me immense amount of vicious pleasure when she finally roared and Abhi was effectively rendered speechless and defenceless for a while.
What a shock she gave to Abhi and to the viewers when she revealed she's well aware of Abhi's current marital status with Tanu . A big slap on the face of the people who expected ( should I say hoped ? ) that she doesn't know it and will be devastated when she'll find it out . Hahaha , they don't know Pragya at all , do they ?? 😆Pragya has always made Lemon sherbet whenever life threw lemons at her. Look the empire she's built around herself and ruling it in all practical purpose and it was all her own doing . So much so that King couldn't even manage for 5 minutes without her. She's so quintessential that in a party of two superstars , she's the one who's called, " Party ki jaan." 😲 Dayum ! 😎
She told Abhi clearly and fiercely with fire in her eyes , that it's no use blaming her and he's the one who's responsible. It doesn't matter in the least what Abhi said in self defence , because as long as Pragya doesn't get convinced by it , we don't care at all. 😆 We know anyways what to expect from Abhi ( or not to , to make short work of it ! 😆 ) As long as she puts her foot down firmly against his crap , like she did today , and literally throwing him out from the room ( this time she's the one to do so. ) , all is peachy in the world. 😃 I swear each time she said , " Aap ko jana chahiye. " I was like, "Keep saying that Prags , always ! Sounds like soulful music. " 😆
P.S. - ABSOLUTELY ADORED how she immediately and fervently said , " Aap please un ke ware mein aisa mat boliye! " when Abhi dared to call King, her husband ( we know King is not , Abhi doesn't. ) a joker . Shows that she won't take any crap about her benefactor , her friend , her protector and co-parent to her child. Not even from Abhi.
