So, here I am back ... as I kind of have forgotten the story line and time frame for My stolen dreams, till I'm able to have it reactivated, I will not be able to continue, that story, so I thought of picking up part 2 of My baby's daddy ... The prologue will make more sense as we move further into the story,
PROLOGUE
Jodha tries to escape, she could not deal with more fighting, she was going to lose it, but he followed her into the kitchen ... Jo sighs, obviously the fight was not over yet !!!
" What the hell Jo?" he screamed "you can't say something like that to me and walk away!"
she tries to keep her tears at bay but fails, slowly turns to him in tears "there is nothing more to say Jalal" she whimpers ... tears rolling down here cheek
"What nothing more " he choked angrily, "I LOVED YOU THEN JO, YOU ... " he fumed
His outburst of anger did it for her, her tears took over, sobs choking her words " No you didn't Jalal, you ... (sob, sob, sob,) you left us remember"
He simply glared at her stunned, "and why would that be Jodha, what would you have expected me to do?" shaking his head continued "You gave me an ultimatum, I came to you asking for your advice seeking a solution ... something we could have managed together ... try to make life work for us ...try to make our marriage work ...but instead you threw an ULTIMATUM at me"
"I didn't" she sobbed ... "you were angry, yelling, screaming"
"YOU DID JODHA" grabbing her chin, forcing her to look at him continues " You asked me to choose between the two most important things in my life ... my FAMILY and my BUSINESS"
They stared at each other silently ... Jo recalled that nightly clearly ... two months after their little girl was born ... Jalal came home around 3 am, Jo was tired that night dealing with sick baby and Salim's tantrum ... telling her he lost all business in India and UK to his uncle, blamed her for his loss ... shudders, shuts down her flashback
"I " she sobbed "I wanted you to pick us Jalal" sob, sob, then whispers "to pick me"
Jalal's demeanor changed, he calmed, "what?"
The prologue is short but the chapters will be longer, I hope you all will enjoy MBD part II and review
I will begin posting this story from next week 😉
