So I guess the marriage thing was one of Guluda's tricks..

He told Karan that only if he married Bhoomi would he and Ira then apologise to him - because he knew Karan would never go ahead with the marriage.

This was Bhoomi will realise that Karan doesn't actually want to commit to her because he doesn't love her... makes sense.

At least someone is thinking practically, no brother should agree to let his sister get married to a bad person like Karan whatever be the situation, because it will be then a lifelong punishment for the girl for the unwanted mistake.
