Hi! New here
I can totally relate to this Bihari connection ... myself being a Mishra n Bihar as my hometown ... the ethics of Prabhakar Sinha seems so familiar as that of my father ... the "janau" wala part in yesterday's episode was too realistic(my family be ing a Maithil Brahmin) ... I've helped my father n bro many times in that ... n that "makhane ka kheer" is very popular in our culture n I luv that ...
Also the Sid-Purva bond is somewhat similar to me n my bro's bond ... how he makes her sis as his assistant in some works ...
Hats off to the PH team for potraying Bihar in a realistic n positive way

Veda, someone on twitter claimed Sinhas aren't brahmins.
And shockingly enough, I didn't find Sinha surname in list of both Maithili (Bihari) brahmins as well as UP brahmins. Isn't this so shocking? Such a big blooper? 😲

janeu is worn by brahmins, vyshyas(baniya) , kshatriyas(kings) and few castes like goldsmiths blacksmiths.
But janeu preparation and all tht brahmins only do and supply to others for free. I know this because i come from a brahmin family.
"Sinha" surname is used by both brahmins and non brahmins. In the show sinhas are brahmins 😆

internet is not the place u search for these things. Sinha surname is used by both brahmins and non brahmins. There are a lot of such surnames that are shared by different castes . My father told me sinhas are bhumihar brahmins.
