If u see oracle said alexander will neither be defeated nor killed in war field by puru, she said puru will not let alexander complete his mission, maybe puru will do lot of damage 2 alexender's army
She said person dont get defeated only on war field, so as per actual story alexander will be impressed by puru's bravery

Alexander will not be defeated by puru at all

Junior oracle wrongly guided puru that only he can defeat or kill alexander

Aapke moon mein ghee shakkar.

If only CVs had the guts to show the real outcome. What I would hate is if they skipped it and just gave us a lame voiceover. 😡

Till now we can tolerate distortions in history as nothing much is available about porus.
But about battle of hydapses, every one knows means it is available everywhere.
So the makers should not distort that.

The actual results of the war is also not known
The only available about the results are the Greek sources which could definitely have been biased

We have been seasoned to believe that Alexander win and that is why any other outcome seems a distortion to us.

But historically even the historians are not sure about the result

So practically whatever they show as the result would not be technically incorrect

I won't mind if they don't show result but I will not be able 2 tolerate that Sony Puru is winning over Alexander . Sony TV Puru never work on his strategies , always busy in samaj seva & bhasanbaji but Alexander do work on his war strategies.

Mostly Alex is considered winner (see all textbooks around the world even Indian( but few theorists believe it was a draw...I respect theorists everyone has right to speculate...But I dearly hope that rakhi bullshit is not there ..Would love to see Roxanne but no please no to filmy rakhi scene...

Forget about the strategies, this guy isn't even making any efforts to win over his army, most of his soldiers still favor ShivDutt and Kanishka while the Alexander's army is ready to die for him. Porus left Paurav Rashtra without even keeping his own people in confidence and is not sending them the details of his whereabouts

To be frank even if the real Puru had won this war, this Porus should definitely win. Is Porus se zyada achha Strategist and Warrior to Chandragupta Maurya ka Porus tha

Yes the Indian Text books mention Alexander as the winner and most books do because traditionally that was believed basis the Greek Sources however the historians have not started doubting the Greek Sources and therefore now historians are inconclusive about the winner

The text books however are not updated in India, but in many other countries they don't give the result of the war
