@Paki: haha, the English transcription - originally - would go like that: pucca, pucci.
See for example: pucca roads, Calcutta for Kolkata...😛
Modern transcribing would have to go like this: pukka, pukki - because the 'c' has become the symbol for 'ch' as in 'chalta' > see in Indonesia: Cimahi, pronounced as Chimahee.
So much for this lesson 😆
