ummm..not really sure on this... some accounts say that apparently prc and khwaja chisti had some kinda quarrel and chisti/9who was a big spiritual man) is "supposed" to have said to prc " i have now given the keys of hindustan to some one else" .... i dont know how historically accurate this is... but thats wat i'v read somewhere...u should try searching online.

oh Thanks!! or was his coming to India just a symbol of change in power and defeat of PRC?? In fact i read somewhere that Ghori was not planning to attack again but he appeared in the dreams of Ghori to advice him on attacking PrithviRaj again, only to win...

yeah i think the dream bit... thats wat i'v read as well....there r many variations to this bit... mayb it was time for the change or mayb it was supposed to happen like this...its really up for discussion as the authencity of texts dating bac to that period is usually under scrutiny...

what an irony that Ajmer is more known for the holy place Ajmer sherrif but people hardly go there to see any memories of PRC who is known to be one of the most valiant and warrior King of Ajmer..his hometown ..where he was born...Thanks to Sagars to come up with this epic...

here's more info about chishti....i'm doubting some of the info, but its a good start off point for people who want to know basic info about him...
and yeah, he was indirectly the cause of PRC's downfall, therefore people have the right to dislike his deeds.
