definitely not you ...was directing miraclemun...everyone in India : hindu or Muslim reveres the Shrine of Ajmer...even my parents have been there...and i merntioned it is a holy place...

here's more info about chishti....i'm doubting some of the info, but its a good start off point for people who want to know basic info about him...
and yeah, he was indirectly the cause of PRC's downfall, therefore people have the right to dislike his deeds.

you won't get a unbiased story anywhere, but if you research more on google you can probably get a good array of varied perspectives on this issue.
maybe i dont like it when people proselytize and convert others, thats why im not a big fan of chishti

Thanks to all of you for coming up with a very good topic,which is actually a mature one,but please ,let us not make any personal comments.

@Soniya,I don't even trust today's Raso,not even a bit......I can guarantee you that it has been tampered with ,very many times.... and stories had been converted as per the time and rulers convienience.Why ?even todays textbooks are so biased and syllabus is changed according to the ruling party's demands and motto's.P R.Raso is a very distant thing.

i have not read anything abt khwaja chisti in raso till now... i might have missed it.. anyway i'll check it once more.
there is however one story given though it is not abt kwaja chisti. prithvi-sanyo had gone for hunting together. they wanted a tiger to come out of the den.. so they lit fire in front n send smoke inside.. so that the tiger wld come out. but there was a saint inside that cave. n the smoke burned his eyes.. so he cursed prithvi telling , even his eyes will be burnt with iron rods... but when prithvi asked for forgiveness.. n said that he wanted to kill the tiger cos.. it was creating probs for the villagers, the saint forgave him n said that even though the eyes will be burned, prithvi will be able to kill that person.
