I think today was the beginning for the Adiya relationship.

Having Zoya almost die showed Aditya that he cared for her, and he is now ready to stand up for her, too. He warned Mahi. And the precap shows that he thinks Zoya returned him his will to live, too--her act made him realise what a terrible waste it is to pine away for someone who hurt you and is now dead. And he now has someone he cares for. His friend, if not his love.

And for Zoya, in her 'dying' moments, she thought of Aditya's words: how he wanted to live, and it made her want to live, too. She called for Aditya before she fainted.
