accidental drowning' in her hotel bathtub in
Dubai on February 24, 2018. Her tragic
demise shook the nation while her friends
and family are still coming to terms with
sudden loss.
It won't be wrong to say that Sridevi was
one of the most versatile actors we had in
the industry. Starting her career at the age
of 4, she featured in over 300 films. Now it
seems, her husband Boney Kapoor has
decided to chronicle her life and has
reportedly registered a few titles to make a
documentary on the legendary actor.
Apparently, he has registered titles Sri,
Sridevi and Sri Ma'am amongst others.
"Boneyji is serious about making a film on
Srideviji and hence he has registered these
titles. He is also keen to acquire other films
that she has worked in and has registered
the titles of those films too. Films like
Chaalbaaz, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja,
Jaanbaaz, Mr India and even titles like Return
of Mr India have been registered by Boneyji
recently., a source informed Deccan
Chronicle.
Meanwhile, after Sridevi's untimely death,
Boney had penned a heartwarming note. It
read, "Losing a friend, wife and mother of
your two young daughters is a loss
inexplicable in words. I would like to
express my sincere gratitude to my family,
friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all
of you countless fans of my Sridevi who
have stood by us like rocks. I am blessed to
have the support and love of Arjun and
Anshula, who have been such pillars of
strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi.
Together, as a family we have tried to face
this unbearable loss. To the world she was
their Chandni..the actor par excellence...their
Sridevi..but to me she was my love, my
friend, mother to our girls..my partner. To
our daughters, she was their
everything...their life. She was the axis
around which our family ran.
